• faces are a little rough in the beginning but get better
• the renders can feel inconsistent where a character will look gorgeous in one frame and really strange in another (I'd say the exception to this is Artemis herself - she looks absolutely incredible, the facial animations are stunning)

• fantastic concept that hooks you, the theme of AI is well thought out and explored in an interesting way
• great writing that keeps you engaged

• animations aren't great
• body types are pretty limited - pretty much everyone has gigantic balloon boobs

• really thoughtful and distinct characters
• they feel original - no stepmom inserts here!
• MC can feel a bit too snarky/sarcastic but is otherwise charming

• Cant wait to see whats next, dev seems to be taking his time and putting a lot of work into it (which is great, it really pays off)

There are too few lewd scenes and they are pretty short but I don't really mind that because the plot is just too good. I am not too big of a fan of the MC but the girls are all top-notched, especially Kindra. Simply one of the best AVNs out there.

Takes a little bit to get into, but the game is one of the GOATs. Characters are so well developed, and the story progresses at a natural, unforced pace. Love it.

Artemis is the most gorgeous and life-like model I've ever seen in any VN.

Only con are the other models - at times, the girls are beautiful, but there are many instances where they look off and weird.

Still a fantastic AVN!

I hope that dev will not abandon this game, because it has very promising story about AI and their future.

Renders are not bad, but not the best.
And I hope that main character will get some male friends, because it will help to show other part of him (Yeah, males behave differently among other men).

To get the negative stuff out of the way. Every female character in the game (besides maybe the namesake character Artemis, which is ironic to put it mildly) looks like they've had major facial plastic surgery to the point of uncanny valley hollywood stuff, the type that makes 24 year olds look like 45 year old trophy wives. While they are overall still very easy on the eyes they also all share a problem that their butts look like they have implants, which tbf is pretty common in these types of games.

On the positive side this game is absolutely hilarious without being some never ending stream of jokes. All the characters feel like characters, they all have their own personalities and stories which vary wildly from one to the other. It's also filled to the brim with philosophical debate about the nature of AI and the characters routinely speculate how this will affect society as a whole. If that's not your thing you can pretty safely skip all that while not really missing much story at all, and it is pretty obvious when that type of conversation is coming up.

The characters even have life in their eyes which I've found to be an extremely rare, but highly appreciated, occurrence in VNs.

The animations are definitely top tier, but the aforementioned butt problem puts a severe dampener on any actual sex scenes, the BJ scenes are insanely well made though.

Overall, definitely try this game out.

This is one of the best games ever made. There are really awesome characters. awesome renders and pics and videos and gameplay as well. The plot is intriguing. And I seriously suggest it!! The story is becoming more and more interesting every day!

Absolutely solid 4 out of 5. The story is a bit power fantasy but the characters are funny enough and the story juuust good enough to carry the whole thing despite the somewhat weak premise and how INSANELY lucky the MC gets.

Minigames are hit or miss, collectibles are whatever for me, the sex scenes are super basic and honestly could do with more work put in. BUT I can't understate how much the main characters sell this for me. The chemistry between Kindra and the MC , and Artemis alone is worth the price of entry. Everything else is just cherries on top to me.

Unreal game seriously. Kindra is adorable. Great writing, people say it's a slow burn but I wouldn't even say so and if it is, it's one of those games where it's so good you don't even notice it's a slow burn. It just gets progressively better and better. Don't think I can play many more AVNs unless they have a kindra in every game.

TL;DR I talk too much. Artemis is really good. The quality of the writing is excellent. Play it. Make your own mind up about it.

Out of all of the 'gold standard' AVNs you'll find on this site, I think this just might be my favourite. IMO it really edges (heh) them out and seals the deal for me in terms of the quality of the 3D scenes, how animated the renders are (seriously, I love the attention to detail for small animations, like Kindra doing the cute speed blinking, hand gestures that express emotions etc.), the excellent standard of writing/grammar, the characters, and of course the story.

As many have said, this is a slow burn so if you're here to pump and dump, you'll have to keep looking. I think however that the slow burn works in its favour, and the payoff from following the MC's story is - so far - very satisfying. If you want something to feel invested in, I think Artemis has a lot to offer however like all things, it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. I've seen criticism of the lack of intimate scenes, which I get but clearly Artemis isn't trying to be 'that' kind of AVN. It could be argued that being in the same place as porn/quick-thrill games is a dis-service to this AVN because it gives particularly horny people the impression that it's something it isn't.

Slight tangent but one of my pet peeves with any AVN is bad writing, especially writing that feels forced/unnatural just to put the MC in situations where they can have their way with other characters. I can look past bad/low quality renders, I can look past the use of commonly reused assets, but I cannot ignore bad writing - it's like taking a cheese grater to my brain. Good news! Artemis has some of the best writing in any AVN; it's very natural and believable. A very human design.

Artemis is good, its not elite however and is a little on the over rated side.

The good
Humor. Artemis is hilarious. Kindra is ride or die but funny as can be at the same time. Love the Mass Effect references too!

The Lewd scenes are below par for an AVN of this magnitude
The INK girls in general whoa re not June. I'm having trouble finding interest in their routes minus some sort of INK girls Harem. Zoe was already cut as a LI too.

In general I like this AVN BUT I just can't give it 5 stars. Its a solid 4 star AVN and this is the appropriate ranking for Artemis.

The game is nice.

I especially enjoyed the movie and game references (some of the humor is hilarious, if you can connect the dots). It's a slow burn, as you have probably read from the earlier reviews.

• The game gets really interesting in chapter 5, when you finally wake up Artemis (she's so adorable).
• Before that... It's kinda fun, but a very slow burn. The women in the first chapters look extremely bad. But they get better.
• MC is a wuss, but he gets better as well.
• The lewd scenes (animations) are nicely done. Props to that. They are few though.
• No Engrish (thank god), the grammar and spelling are mostly on top.

This is more of a story kind of game. Have you ever played Detroit Become Human? It's like that, only not as serious, but with some lewd stuff..

This game seems to be among the top 3. Eternum, Being a Dik and Artemis (in no particular order).

One of the very best games out there. Hilarious writing, perfect pace, three-dimensional and amazing characters (primarily June and KINDRA), a strong emotional core, and maybe the best MC I've ever come across. The renders just get more and more flawless and the animations are superb, even if the sex scenes are a bit lackluster in length and overall quality. They feel more like an afterthought, but thanks to the incredible writing and emotional connection to the characters, it doesn't detract much from the experience. It's a pity that the updates take so long, but unlike some games like BeingaDIK, the story remains coherent and the updates just get better with time. It's essentially a flawless game.

Story is bad and not interesting at all.

Main girls are not that good either.

Like mc they are not mature and are acting like kids that's especially true for two main girls

June and Kindra their mood is constantly changing from spoiled to mature but worst one is Kindra.

MC is a stupid kid in a body of a grown man i mean i expected since his mother is a marine that he will be a more mature and resourceful man but he is not.

Relationship between him and the girls is not bad but they they treat him like a fool but since he is a fool i guess it doesn't really matter.

Here's my rating as of update 0.6 so far.

Pros

• Good writing; lots of humors, relatable conversation
• Story is easy to follow.
• Choices matter.
• Character designs are distinctive; easily recognizable.
• Visuals are overall great; a bit outdated for 2025 but still pleasing to my eyes.
• Soundtracks and effects are fitting for the scenes they're in.

Cons

• Slow development (A year+ per chapter at current pace)
• Most "main" LIs feel more like side characters or afterthoughts.
• Chapter 1 visual quality is not up to the current standard, although the dev stated it will be remade in the future.
• Special renders are difficult to find without a guide.

Final Thoughts

I've been keeping track of this VN for a few years now because it's one of the most praised AVN among the AVN fandom, and it's deservedly so. However, I'm concerned of its slow development, as it comes with the greater risk of the game getting abandoned halfway, due to various factors, such as health, money, or writer's block (looking at you GRRM). And as of 0.6 update, the story still seems pretty far from over. It's something to keep in mind for anyone deciding to follow this game's development.

Excellent Visual Novel with a great story that will keep you wanting more, well written with very little errors and the English is done well, nice graphics the girls are good looking, some nice jokes and some sex scenes, definitely worth playing. Lots of great content and hopefully lots to come.

I absolutely loved this game. Definitely one of my top AVNs. Unfortunately it'll be a little while until the Book 2 releases, so I think I can wait for it. I'm just hungry for more and really excited to continue the story after that ending.

Also, the main menu screen is AMAZING. 10/10 work!

Hilarious game and pretty interesting story. Aiden is a interesting character but imo hes a mixed bag, funny but too much emotional. All the girls are samey to me personality wise, they all are funny but looks wise no one one is great. If we can date the doc then I will do a new review, because she got her own aura and is freaky sexy.

If you like drama, emotions and comedy plus some lewd scenes then this is a good game. The visuals in early game honestly hurt the eyes, but it gets better and better.

Love SciFi in general but as with AI in real life, Sci-Fi is beginning to to be realized as Sci-Fact. This story(s) is/are well written, the characters are well defined and believable. I hate the villains I'm supposed to hate and love the heroes. Can't wait to see what the "main" character, Artemis, gets up to in the next release.

Currently looking like the best VN on this site (in my opinion, out of all the VNs I've played, obviously) but I will say it's kind of close. All* characters have very well fleshed out personalities. Where this project lacks in terms of kinks and lewdity, it MASSIVELY overdelivers in terms of character writing and dialogue. The writing feels very mature and lacks irksome "anime-like" over-exaggerations (whether for comedic value or plot progression) which I personally have an aversion to.

The reason I call this the best lies in the merit of the characters first and foremost. I find solid characterization to be the most important piece of the genre. Why would I be invested in my fictional relationship with a character if I don't care about my protagonist or the love interest? Everyone has different kinks, I can't in good faith call an overall much more erotic or raunchy game better just based on the 'adult' content in it, that would be unfair and unproductive to someone with a different set of fetishes or preferences. Visual novels should fundamentally be reviewed primarily based on writing, and characterization should be the most important factor. (I'd argue for most media, but romance-based visual novels especially.)

With that said, the erotic content in the game isn't particularly lacking at all, and the renders are more than satisfactory compared to their contemporaries. The overall polish of this game is nothing to scoff at either, whether in the cleanliness of the UI, or sheer presentation of the menu. digi.B clearly cares deeply about this project and it really shows.

TL;DR: Characters good. This includes the protagonist. Dev very visibly cares about the quality of their project.
