Just a quick heads up for you Daz3D shoppers.
The 'end of year' loyalty discount has hit a few Daz store account inboxes. Depending on how much Daz likes you (i.e. how much you spent), yeah this discount may hit 30% or more, but only on items that are cycled in daily to the Holiday sale , which will run from today until the end of the year apparently (so different, new items each day, plus discounts on featured holiday sale vendors, etc.)
The important part is that, TODAY only, your loyalty discount also applies to gift cards, but you'll need to buy one featured new item to qualify. If you've done a LOT of Daz shopping this year, that discount could be as high as 30% or more, so it might be worth it to bank a bunch of store credit at your loyalty discount rate.
Remember that anything bought using store credit has an effective discount relative the gift cards you put in. So if you bank a bunch of credit at 30% off using a gift card, yeah that translates to 30% off a bunch of items later, with your 'pre-banked' store credit. About the only thing you can't use store credit for is gift cards, and maybe a few other things, but otherwise you can use your store credit on about 99% of the stuff in the Daz store.
The downside is the need to set aside some cash in advance, but if you shop the Daz store regularly, you really should get into this habit. You'll save more money in the long run.
There's a chance that another coupon sale that uses your loyalty discount may pop up between now and New Years, but there's no guarantee of that. So if you've been wanting to get a good deal on a gift card (to bank some store credit for later), yeah definitely take a look. And if your loyalty discount is less than 20%, that may be a judgement call on your part (15% off gift cards seem to pop up every month or two). BUT, note that your holiday discount will apply to the 'holiday item sales', and then factor in the gift card discount, well that's a bit more savings...
The sale on 'loyatly' gift cards runs for a bit over six hours from the time of this post.
Everyone else:
Nothing to see here.
Carry on!
