In fact, the mission to kill 3 wolves, you have to go in a straight line after leaving the village gate, you will arrive at a small hill with a tree, there will be 3 wolves nearby and you have to kill all three.
I believe you are talking about a different quest. That one sounds more like the one that the cat lady gives you where you go out north of the village. The one the merchant gives you is after you go out and collect his wares he wants you to kill the wolves responsible, only there is no way to know which ones were responsible so the quest is basically "killing 3 wolves should be good enough". However, it still implies that you should go out west of the village following the path where you found the wares and there are 3 wolves along that path.

They are similar in that you need to kill 3, but I think the one the cat lady gives you may actually require you to go north and kill the 3 wolves north of the village where they normally do not spawn and only spawn for that quest.

Oh, I don't remember receiving this mission from the Merchant, I took the bags and I think when I returned it, he gave me the mission to bring something for sleep.

the game seems to have some serious issues with monitors that support resolutions above 1080p, with the entire game window loading in at a ridiculously high resolution that I am unable to access the settings and change them, even editing the Settings.json doesn't seem to help :(.

I did not experience such an issue. I am using a 1440p monitor. Both my system and the game was running 1440p.

Very cool game mechanics so far, but it's very frustrating trying to play it.

For the "Repair and Improvement" quest, I go and talk to Shaartan, who asks for something... I think maybe cattails? The quest log doesn't update to reflect the new task, so I'm not sure. When I go talk to her, she asks about the bathhouse, and there's no way to give her the cattails for the dry grass, or to ask to be reminded what to bring her. I tried reloading and doing the quests in a different order, so then she asks me if I've brought the cattails (if I remember right?), and I have them, but she won't take them. Plus, then she stops asking about the bathhouse, and there's not way to bring it up with her, so I worry that now the bathhouse quest is broken.

So, I reload to my old game, and I try to finish the bathhouse quest in the hopes that the Repair and Improvement quest will work afterward. Now, however, she asks for soapwort roots, but doesn't tell me where to find them. And the quest log just says to colelct "roots", so if I had forgotten that it was soapwort, then I wouldn't be able to figure out how to complete the quest. So now I'm just wandering around looking for something that hopefully says "soapwort"...

Meanwhile, I've gotten hungry, but I've already eaten the fish soup from the ingredients Alice gave me, so now I'm out of food. The only food I know how to cook is fish soup, but I don't know how to get any of the ingredients. It says you don't need everything for a recipe, but you do need some of it. The recipe says onions are necessary, but I don't know where to get them. I worry fish would be necessary, too, but I don't know where to get that. Maybe the trap has been put back, and now has fish in it? Are those the only necessary ingredients? Is water necessary? I know where to get water if it is, but it would be nice to know which ingredients were necessary instead of needing to guess.

I really want to like this game, but it's just too frustrating to play right now. I'd suggest having the first quest include directions on how to feed yourself repeatably. I also suggest being able to ask the NPCs about quests instead of it being what they talk to you about. Because sometimes if you're working on more than one quest, one will overwrite the other, and then you can't complete the first one. If you ask them about it, then you can always ask about progressing the quest you've worked on. Also, the quest log should include more details like "collect 3 cattails from the beach" or "collect 3 chamomiles from the meadow in front of the town".

The quest problems you've mentioned were already fixed on July 13th. You can try downloading the build from the game page ( ) because I'm not sure if it was updated here.

Can someone please help me with the bathhouse quest? I got the hammer from Yotra, but the only option I get when I interact with the stove is "Leave."

where does one find the remedy for insomnia on malagdaer quest?
It's the "Chamomile Decoction" recipe. Can't remember where you buy it, likely bought it. Some items will only appear at merchants once certain quests are completed, worth noting.

Don't have the recipe anywhere, and that quest is the only one I have left to do at the moment.

Well that is comforting to know. I was debating on starting over to see what would have happened. Thanks m8

There are no clues that I could find for the insomniac quest either. Is that one at a dead end in public version as well?
You can use saveeditonline.com to add it to your inventory and continue the quest. Upload your save, scroll down to the end of your "items" section and add this:

{
"id": 188,
"count": 1,
"equiped": false,
"slot": 0,
"durability": 52.0,
"quality": 0,
"modifications": ""
}

Make sure you put a comma after the } from the item above where you add this.

Hey thanks for that. I did check the save file to see if it was simple fix, but I don't understand coding enough to do it. But I will try this and thanks again m8 :)

You can also use the save editor to adjust various values. Several are clearly indicated, like health and endurance. I set mine to something like 2000 each, so I can't die and I never run out of endurance. Unfortunately, the items aren't labeled, they just have the "id": xxx line. But if you want lots of any particular item, you can change the "count" to whatever you want. I'd suggest staying under 100, I've had other games crash when you go beyond a certain number of digits because items are only coded to stack to a certain amount. I can confirm that changing count to 99 doesn't break the game. The same goes for skills, they aren't labeled by name in the save, but you can set them to 99 as well without any trouble that I've seen. Attributes seem to be hard-capped at 10. I haven't tried messing with the buffs yet. I also set my run speed to something like 15 so I can cruise around quick as a whip.
