I have the same problem. Dev said that by holding down "LMB" the lockpick should rotate, but it doesn't. I tried holding space, not holding space, holding space and "LMB" at the same time and only holding "LMB" and nothing works.
I got it! It may be a good idea to add a second sound feedback when the lockpick is able to rotate!

I love the premise of the game, but i fucking hate the food and hunger and how it works, all you do is stress about food the entire time, then it becomes to dark to see anything and you cant sleep because of hunger and it just goes on and on and on. Ive done all the quests to get the fishing baskets and even the fishing quest. I have to kill wolves, eat the meat, wait, get basically no hunger back. it just sucks ass. really hope they change this.

I found that doing the repeatable quests, gains a lot of coin which I spend on food as well as hunting the wolves this seems to be the best way to balance things as I end up with a good stockpile of meat so as to not worry about it any more. The impulse to horde the money in this game seems needless is all I'll say

I already got past the locks by editing my save file so I could just ask for the keys. But if that is the case and its not bugged, then what you should do is give the player a visual representation that their actions are doing something and they are making progress. As it is right now, when you find the spot and you click LMB, the lock pick freezes and nothing happens. So make the pick move a in some way when the player is doing something right to let them know they are progressing.

Also, I just want you to know that I do really like the game. The lockpick thing was the only thing that stopped me really. But everything else has been pretty good. It would be nice to have more lewd things to do in it, but so far this has been nice.

Right there with you friend, game is great IMO really like the survival RPG theme, and haven't come across the alternate animations that I believe were mentioned but some more characters/animations would be the icing on the cake

Thanks for the game! At first I thought it's going to be one of those empty-world alpha versions but it has plenty of content.
Regarding the lockpicking problem: there's no need to make the minigame easier, you should make it less counterintuitive instead. In 0.1 lockpicking works if you QUICKLY find a clicking point with space and then QUICKLY move lockpick to the side with LMB. Most people, myself included, try to move lockpick slowly because that's how it works in New Vegas etc., and the lockpick breaks. I assume that it breaks after it has been moved for a certain amount of time, and you should just replace time with distance, rewarding precision instead of quickness.
Also is sex supposed to be that...non-interactive? Do I miss some action hotkeys or is changing camera the only available action during scenes? Honestly I hoped for a bit more... Maybe changing speed or "try not to cum" minigame, or something. Also haven't seen any "girl pleasure indicator" even with perception 10 and lover 90+.

I need some help - Where do I look for Alice's ring? Thanks in advance.
The game is pretty enjoyable as is but obviously could do with more content, the environments and characters are pretty. Something I'd suggest to add asap is autosaves to save people from dying by stupid things like accidentally eating a poison mushroom after a misclick. Also make it impossible to sell the special bear meat as to not softlock yourself.
For those that want to have an easier time - use Cheat Engine to find the money value which is a Float and use a decimal, for example - 0.5 ; 1.5 ; 2.5 etc. , also tick the "Pause the game" box while you look for faster results.
I'll upload my save when I'm done finishing the "main" quests

You need to check out bird nests (there are ~10 of them on the map, mostly in the faraway part near the quest bear). The ring is in one of them. When the nest with the ring is somewhat near you'll hear the crow cawing (ignore the direction of the sound, the only thing that matters is the fact of cawing). Not sure if the ring spawns in random nest or in the same one every time.
