Hey man! It's a rare slow day for me at work, and I'm scrolling around and found your development thread!
I really love what you're doing with AVIM!
But it's a little sad to see you not receiving much support!
I don't have big money advice for you, but I do have an experience as a fairly low-supported dev, and I have an experience powering through the long obstacles of low support.
Please don't be discouraged, this is normal. Especially if you don't have a working game yet, or a rough pre-alpha demo. And not to mention, you haven't posted your demo as a downloadable on this website in the Games section. This Development section has very low visibility.
What you have
AVIM has very good potential if you can get the design right. Your characters are cute, and lovers of oppai and busty girls will love your characters. Simulators are very easy to get support! Just make sure you design it correctly, and make sure the gameplay works without too many bugs.
Create a simple game first!
If I were you, I would create a simple game at first with basic gameplay features of AVIM. It has to be playable. Then upload that game to the Games section, as per
Bob69's instruction/advice. Once your game gets into the Latest Updates, it will have a
visibility boost. Players will start trying it out, and the game will start receiving comments and reviews. They will start visiting your Patreon. Keep working on your game, and everytime you update it, it gets another visibility boost!
Then, once this simple first game is finished, you can start moving on to a bigger game, using everything you learned from your completed simple game!
My experience as a low-supported dev
And remember, my VNs receive low-support because it's a VN, it's a wholesome story. Not many people like that stuff.
But for your game, it's a simulator! I'm sure it has many fetishes (because you said you have troubles with NSFW policies)!
On paper,
AVIM is something that many people would want to support!
As long as it is working and playable, and the design is good!
So don't give up!
And I cannot force you to follow my advice, but I still think it's smart to start with a small game first, and use that experience to learn. Complete that small game, and use the experience to create AVIM!
If you are not sure about how things work on this website, you can always ask Uploaders! I see
Lerd0 (who is very active) is showing support for you already! You can always ask them for help!
Good luck
Layer Games ! If you know you have something you love, don't give up eventhough very few people support you!
