Preggo fetish people on itch.io are weird. Thats basically it. The preggo games on there largely dont really seem to care about the how is babby formed, just that tummy grow big. Theres several of these games where you just run around and collect things and the things do +1 belly size every time. Several where you just touch a fertility idol or something and zoinkers ur preggers and the game is just watching the character grow.
Or maybe its more accurate to say they're inflation fetishists and dont really care about preggers, just tummy grow.

That and Itch isnt really the friendliest of platforms for lewd contents so probably some devs decided to avoid the parts that are more readily recognized by normies as porn to say "no no, my fetish game definitely isnt meant to be erotic"

i think its that last one is the bigger part, they are trying to post stuff that wont get them in trouble.
