I really hope this game continues and finds success.

Hey everybody! Some really bad news today unfortunately... Patreon has shut down my page and deactivated my account entirely. I think amidst the latest crackdowns on any form of adult content, they reached pretty far back into my post history to justify the banning as you see in the screenshot below. Seems like they are cracking down really hard on adult content, which came out of the blue. They have let me know before if my posts were adult in nature, and I shifted them to paid members only, which would solve the issue once and for all. I'm not sure what possessed them this time around to not even provide me a warning and suspend me entirely. This is a huge bummer, as subscribestar still hasn't replied to me, despite all the times I have reached out to them, so I don't have any means of generating support for this game at the moment. I'm not really sure what my next steps are, but I will have to take a long break from the game to see if there is a way to appeal this or if there is another payment platform I can use in the meantime. I am really sorry to all of those of you pledged money, and I have no way of even confirming that Patreon refunded you any of the money you put in for this month. I don't have access to my account, so I have no way of knowing what happened, since they sent my $8 as my remainder for the month and called it for the day. If you were actively subscribed, I highly suggest you look into getting the amount charged back on your credit card if you can. I'm sorry this happened y'all... I'm really thankful for all the support over the last 2 years, and I really wish it didn't have to end this way.

I have been looking through multiple payment processors, trying to go through the process of recreating my Patreon page, and it's been... frustrating to say the least. I realized that going through this process might not even be feasible, as I am sure many of you who were subscribed already will not be motivated to go through the hoops of subscribing to a new platform (or multiple new platforms) just to try and follow me. On top of this, I think a lot of the fun I got was working on the game, rather than having to handle all the administrative work that comes with handling marketing/payments/etc. I ultimately decided that it wasn't worth pursuing this, and instead taking a different route. I have spent a lot of time making sure that this game is up to my standards, and no doubt have spent a lot of hours in the art and the story mechanics. I don't want to leave it unfinished, but being able to associate some monetary worth with my work gave me my motivation to continue. So I decided to compromise and the game will continue, but according to my standards. What does that mean? Here are some loose bullet points on how I plan on continuing:

- So no subscribestar, patreon, etc.,
- No more paid/patron version of the game or patron benefits
- This means I'll be removing a few things from the game that add too much work for me on the side

- Voice acting for all characters except Lois is something I don't plan on pursuing as well,

- Much looser development schedule
- I'll be taking more time to do the art/story and adjust to my work schedule more than anything

- This will also allow me work on any other games or ideas I have in mind,
- This also means I will probably post progress updates only once or twice a month instead
- These updates will be in the progress-updates channel and on twitter,
- I'll be taking more time to do the art/story and adjust to my work schedule more than anything
- The story will be a lot more focused on completion, rather than the addition of new characters
- This means that I will honor the last poll, and continue with Donna content.,
- But this also means that after Donna, I'll only add characters that I want to game (or more realistically, no other characters),
- A majority of my focus is going to be on making sure I can complete the story I had in mind for the game,

It would be hilarious if that was the case, but I'm guessing I wouldn't be that lucky
so who are you working on this time donna,lois or one of the other girls plus im with the guy a bit up the page at least open up a send me a coffee that way we can send you at least something for the game it will make us feel like we are contributing and hopefully help you keep away from that terrible burnout that nobody wnts to see
So far for this update Donna! And yeah, I plan on putting out the page with the next update, since I feel like I am not too sure how long it might take for me to put out an update, or what my progress update schedule will look like. I would rather not take people's hard earned money until I am little bit more sure of myself as well.
you could update us every 2 weeks or so? i think that could work/? but it would depend mostly on how much you have already done, like.... 2 scenes or soemthing
Yup, since things are slowing down a little for me (as I try to focus more on my day job and getting promoted for extra income), my gameplan right now is at least one update a month, and then whenever I finish any scene, I'll post that within the discord channel for art-spoilers. That way everyone who is interested in the art will get the scenes as soon as they are ready, and then the people more interested in the story or progress of the work that needs to be done will have a text update every month letting them know what's up.
I know next to nothing about Discord how do i get in when i hit the Discord button under the Back to the past pic it just says Invite Invalid?
