VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Bad Company [v1.6] [Lennier]

Lets start with a couple of facts:

You start the game and after a small introduction, with no exposition, you find yourself enjoying the company of a beautiful lady that easily agrees to have sex with you (wow! THAT EASY?) and if you know something about these games you already know what is going on. (yeah exaclty THAT)

So, after this "totally unexpected" twist you are now in a room, and you have a boner and some lady, which you dont know about is embarased and horny at the same time (this thing i like, cause the conclusion could be anything, and i prefer my brain working, instead of someone exposition my ass)
Soo... you are reading the narrator voice describing the scene, and out of nowhere without any indication you find yourself reading something about an animation, and if you are not paying attention you will think that peson is a programmer and she is talking about work (SADLY NOPE) What actually happens is that the dev, decided to break the 4th wall while there is a female masturbating, (GG DUDE) to tell you that animation sucks and couldnt get it better. And he is right, the animation sucks, really.

Well, after this part you find out that the girl is the stepmom, and you also see some guy who looks a couple of years older than the MC who happens to be his stepdad. During the next section you are force fed with exposition nonstop, but in all this exposition it never explains why his stepdad looks like 23 with a weird face and beard.

Later on there is a moment where the dev breaks the 4rth wall again to tell you that he wont give you more exposition for you to skip, and shows after that he shows you a picture, totally unrelated to the current scene.

I get that the dev worked on this and requires effort and stuff, but he is not taking it very seriously, doesnt seem to understand some basic rules that make things work.

All i can say is:
Being that renders are nothing special, since lighting is boring, there are square shadows and stuff, animations are clearly a challenge for the dev, and in th writing department is obvious that he even aknowledges that is pointless to write cause players wil skip, i can definetly asure you: THIS GAME IS TRASH. Big time.

NEVER DOWNLOAD THIS AGAIN. RUN!

Story is great to start with but later starts coming apart, couple of examples(some spoilers), I get why they try to frame MC but why does anyone still care about the MC once he sold his stock, they have everything they need from him, next the dominated twins thing brings the game down a whole star for me, the game spends so much time building up the independance, training and effectiveness of the MC only to have it all torn down by mr sumeragi sicking two kids on him, WTF why does the MC need to do anything else when sumeragi has large numbers of much better fighters just sitting around and has the same goal as the MC, a bullet proof house, armored car and full body armor but then the MC keeps going to school where the entire staff and most of the students are out for his blood and would happily cover up MCs death.

There are no real choices in the game that change the direction of the game in anyway but it does have a lot of pointless ones like a "choice" to kiss someone or not only for the story to make them have sex anyway regardless of your choice, having to save and be nice to people you dont like or game over, etc...

Characters are done very well with each being unique and interesting, especially love the dont know who to trust aspect(something i really hope continues in the future).

Sex scenes are at best average.

Even with the story problems, lack of good adult scenes and pointless choices its still good enough for me to recommend, this could easlily be a 5 star game in the future.

Decent renders and a more than intriguing storyline that is sure to keep us engaged. While there are several instances of grammatical errors, there is a surprising amount of business jargon that flowed quite well, made sense, and added a layer of respectability to the dev to go further in making the dialogue more believable.

In just one chapter alone, we've been introduced to several families' worth of characters with not a single one feeling forced and everyone having a clear, defined role

The only downside is the lack of animation which is essentially a powerpoint slide but it's something I can live with

I was more than pleasantly surprised at this gem. The story goes a mile a minute, and is almost like an anime in it's hi-jinx, but I don't think that is a bad thing. It's interesting, has sexy characters/relationships, and more than enjoyable. The only things that I'd like to see improved are render/animation quality and a bit more English proofing, but those are extras to an already solid game.

MC is finishing school and gets mixed up in a conspiracy concerning his parents' company and smuggling/defense contracts. Builds relationships with girls and female agents from several organisations.
Story very well written, although some dodgy English. Girls and outfits hot, renders below par though.

Story- A nice fantasy plot with some twists and rational decision makings
Bruce wayne with guns in the making except the MC is not a simp and surrounded by hotties.
Character-MC has some nice developments overall characters not bad
Render-Not the best but good
The story is thrilling and enough to keep people engaged and also there are action elements
Hope the dev keep focusing on the story in future.

Aight, always start by saying I'll keep it short then go back on my word....

-Renders are good though not amazing, the characters I really enjoyed and the sex scenes have awesome poses.
-Animations are placeholders, show promise though... I don't really expect animations in a game, but if the poses are as good as in the still-images I can't wait for them to be redone (dev should keep working on the awesome story, and not spend too much time on animations)
-Story is awesome, maybe a little fast paced and a setting which makes it feel very much like an action movie (with sex so you won't hear me complain)
-Characters are likeable, and nice... They don't seem to have too little or too much depth but the story more than makes up for it.
-Plenty of content, though not a huge amount... Worth playing and I can't wait for more (some comments seem to be bothered by little content per update, first time playing so I don't really know but I don't think I'd mind it)

This one has a pretty unique plot as far as porn games are concerned. That's the strongest aspect of this VN. The way its told could use some work though. Too much narration. Too much exposition. The meat of the story itself is really quite interesting though. It has some resemblance to a Tom Clancy novel maybe.

There is some issues with the animation and the dev is working on fixing it. The models and renders are great. MC looks like Jotaro Kujo lol. Some spicy scenes and situations are found already on [v1.0].

Now.. there is Engrish. But i think the dev has a proofreader to help out. The first parts of the game are noticeably better in this regard. Maybe the proofreader didn't get to the later half of the update yet.

Ok, I'm being generous with the 4 star rating. It's really about 3.5 in my opinion.
Why not 4? The English is beyond bad. I mean it is almost unreadable bad.
Which really blows, because the story is interesting. Most of the girls are hot, and some are scorching hot. The animations look very promising.
There are plenty of folks to despise, and plenty of folks you're not sure about.
Someone please help the dev find a good translator or editor! Because this game could easily be 4.5 or higher.

Worth the download

A nice beginning to a promising mystery. Graphics are topnotch and narration is good. I give you 5 star for a good start and keeping me intrigued. I hope this develops into a great series.
I did have initial hickup on what the story is all about, but soon caught up with the plot and it was a good sail from there

Weird dick aside, that one wasn't bad at all.
English is a bit wonky, but it's not unreadable, apart from one or two sentences that seemed pretty jumbled up, but yeah, I would definitely work on that.

Disregarding that, it has a few relatively fresh characters and a story, while pretty common in general hasn't been used that often for western Visual Novel porn games.
The renders are good enough and the story is interesting enough that I definitely want to see the next updates.

As an introduction it's a pretty well made VN. Nothing breathtaking, but I can certainly see potential for it to be a great game. I'll be back for the next version.

THE GOOD:
- Interesting plot
- Pretty girls
- Good renders
- Good writing
- Well implemented dream sex scene that fits in the story.

THE BAD:
- The Company. Really? No other name was available? It's just hard to take it seriously.
- Player interaction. There are only two choices. One for dream sex scene variation and one for peeking. Time will tell if the player can influence the story as well.

THE UGLY: The cobra.
