You may have to re download the mod, as I've made a couple changes to it to fix that, but it should now ask you to name your character when you load a save. If not there's a rename button in the cheats menu now as well.

The game update dont ned a mod update, or that is what what i think, in my playtrought i dont have any choice to make.
