Hm... Well maybe if you had mentioned this was a side project you did while working on your primary game, i wouldn't have been so hard on it. However, this 'mini-game' is so lean I'd barely call it a "loading screen game". Regardless if it's a mini-game or not, you could have put just that splash more effort in it before publishing. This is in essence a tech demo to me about what your main project is now, and I'm anything but excited to see your main project. Everything you put out is a showing of how much effort and soul you put into your work and every single thing like this depreciates that value. Tech-demo or not... Mini-game or full... Flash loop animation to full on interactive hentai... Everything you do is a sum of your value as a coder, storyteller, game creator, exc.
Again... Don't be bethesda or EA, be better than that and just put that splash more effort in. That minor attention to detail. It would have been as simple as just making four different animations. One for each ghost. It's not like you don't have the skill either. You have some pretty okay looking sprites in your main project. And honestly how long would it take to make 3 additional animations? What? An hour or two a piece at most?
Anyway... Thanks for the reply. I'll be keeping tabs on your main project and wait for it's full release.
