I know, that's my point when I said "more reasons to ignore their spam". While it helps the few that only do check the OP instead of searching through the possible deep logs of some threads that reach thousands of pages (not this one, of course), the rest never read anything anyway. However, having the up-to-date information on that post is an ethic (one of the few that matter around these parts) that has to be done regardless of results (or lack of).

...No, seriously, the version's been broken for over half a year and yet still new itchio threads get started. For Midas' sake, everything Jasonafex touches really does turns into a shitshow.
Checking the patreon for a possible timeline for an update maybe this year, and hes revealed the other two chars. Thats nice. Kinda wish he'd update his damn game so we can use them

Is it just me, or does the game crash a lot? It's like a tossup between whether or not it'll crash before the main menu or just afterwards.
Edit: So the crashing seems to be a common issue that hasn't been fixed as of v0.6.5. Past versions may have been more stable, but I can't find any downloads for old builds. As for the game being active or not, various sources seem to show some progress being made, and mention some kind of bottleneck that was stagnating development. I can't find a timetable of any sort, but it looks like the game isn't dead.

how strange i already see alot of people saying about crashes but i only see bugs up to today and alot of them i m glad amorous stop there imagine how bad it would be if jasonafex started to put passwords and things like this
anyways they are promising a new big update but the only thing i see to today is screen shots on patreon they will put 2 more characters and i guess npc's ? nothing more i couldn't notice anything else

There aren't enough Xs in the world to represent my doubt in their work. But if it actually gets the game working for me, that be an improvement.
... I'm being really harsh towards a developer team that probably suffers under Jasonafex' and Kabier's leadership, considering the high turnover rate.
Oh, they did "update" the game. Mind you, only verbal (well, written) updates on their patreon and no physical (or digital) evidence beside some animation. And animations are really easy compared to game coding.
When I want to start the game without patreon or subscriberstar the game just crashes after loading a window saying unity I don't know what
When I open the file with notepad++ I get some strange symbology and the only legible text is something at the beginning that says "FSB5". Has anyone had the same problem?
Me too. I tried looking up how to open the files in notepad++, but nowhere did I get an answer.

You don't need to do that anymore. At the time it just crashed the game after a few seconds because it couldn't load high res video. Its a whole other problem than the subscribestar thing that no longer is a thing. Sorry you got confused.
Yeah, I found the problem: They made the whole game heavier on the gpu. Mind you, I can run heavily modded Minecraft, Oh So Hero (which is basically BBS but actually decent) and the Sims 4, yet this shoddy beta is too much? My PC isn't *that* much of a potato.
