Hello everyone, I’m experiencing a problem with the v1.7 update.
The v1.7 changelog states that the update includes:
This happens with all characters listed in the changelog — Carrie, Mary, Riley, Franny, Cassie, etc.
Only Rissa shows a different message.
It looks like every storyline is being marked as completed for this update, even though I haven’t played any new 1.7 content yet.
Because of this, it seems like the build I downloaded might not actually contain the new scenes mentioned in the changelog, or something is preventing the update content from loading correctly.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to fix it?

Sorry for the inconvenience. I update the guild after each storyline at the end of its event, so loading an old save won’t update the guild text, even though there're new content. I’m not sure how to fix this yet, the only solution I have now is to set a checkpoint at the end of each chapter, but we’re still 2–3 updates away from finishing Chapter 1, so I don’t have the bandwidth to do that right now.

I did try adding a consume button to the right sidebar, but it broke the code so badly I had to ditch it from the previous version. I’ll give it another shot, but I can’t guarantee anything yet.
Strange, I stumbled upon the abandoned house once and unfortunately got killed, because forgot to save before the fight, but now can't find it on the map when playing from a previously saved or new game. FYI, playing the online version.
If you die during the fight in the abandoned house, you can choose to retry the minigame or skip it. It doesn’t lead to an ending. Also, you shouldn’t use old saves, as mentioned above. I upload a save file there too.

I think the text mention that the abandoned house was in the north, so was not looking where your red circle is located, which seems like the west to me. Will check when I get a chance. Thank you for the reply.
EDIT: OK, got it and it did say I died, but you are right that it allowed me to continue it to a chase which concluded the case. Unfortunately the RV case 3 that became available has an error when trying to talk to Emmett.

I think you want Guide, not Guild, for the help/walkthrough.
A scene with David's wife calls her by a different name, think it started with a V, maybe Veronica or Vanessa.
The Bureau is FBI, not FIB, unless it was an intentional pun.
I'm pretty sure the actress for Mary is Autumn Falls and not Skylar Snow.

Thanks, I’ll fix the typo. FIB is the GTA V parody of the FBI. And yeah, I changed Mary’s actress from Skylar Snow to Autumn Falls in this update. I just forgot to update the actress name.
A follow up on the RV Case 3 Emmett bug ... It looked like he was speaking Russian, so had an idea and decided to buy some vodka ... when I have vodka in my inventory the bug doesn't appear, but it doesn't do anything either. Hope that helps troubleshoot the issue.
Glad you picked up on that. You need to give Emmett 5 bottles of vodka to continue his storyline. The issue is that I forgot to null check the vodka quantity in the conditional statement, so the bug happens when you don’t have any vodka in your inventory. It should work fine as long as you have at least one bottle, though.
Why 5 bottles and nothing indicating the number needed to complete the quest? After buying one bottle the error message was gone, but there is no message about needing 5 bottles to continue. I even brought two bottles, thinking maybe one for each of us to share a drink, so curious why 5 bottles.
Yeah, that’s on me. I picked 5 bottles because it would cost you exactly a week’s salary. I will adjust it and/or hint it better in the next update.
DraemGaem, a few thoughts, bugs, and suggestions ... I'm playing the online version with no cheats ...
I went to the pawn shop and tried to buy Salt's belt as a gift for his help, but it doesn't allow it to be purchased, even though I had the money listed, unless it was a misprint and is actually a lot more.
I went to the fancy restaurant in the mall and expected to be able to eat, but apparently we can only get chicken in Bason.
Does the different foods have different effects or is it just price?
How about having a general store to have other options for food etc.
After meeting the woman in the restaurant and starting the Jack McMahon quest, I'm still getting the link in the restaurant, which restarts the quest and time countdown, essentially losing progress and having to redo everything.
My guide for Haley says go to the Library, but only the Librarian link is appearing there. I've already met here there once and completed the test quest, so maybe the guide is out of sync.
Is there any content for the Casino, Cinema, Construction Site, Flower Shop, Sex Shop, and teachers at the University or are they all just placeholders for the future?
Which is better, here or on Discord, for these kind of comments?

1. Salt’s belt bug: That happened because I named the item with an apostrophe. I’ve fixed it. Also, you can steal the belt during the one-week window near the end of v0.1.7. (after you got call to check the shootout at the park)
2. About the food option: as of v0.1.7, I’m not focusing on that yet, so for now you can only get food in 1 place and different foods don’t have different effects. I’ll try to add more options in the next update.
3. I found out what was wrong with the restaurant event and fixed it
4. About the Haley guide, I got it a bit tangled there, but I’ve fixed it
