Be it resolved: Every mod should have

Should visual novel mods require or highly recommend that include in remarks info as to its use?

I, on occasion, have downloaded patches and gone to sleep or some other reason that makes me forget what visual novel I'd downloaded it for, so sometimes I'm forced to open it up, skim over the names, etc., and try to figure it out. Most times I either just delete it or dump it in my best guess on the visual novel that might use it.

I'd think modders could help identify their mods better by including information in the remarks of the mod itself, so I make the following proposal:

Therefore, be it resolved: Every mod should have, at its top in remarks:
  1. The name of the visual novel/game for which it is intended to use
  2. Its version/revision number
  3. The major purpose(s) of the patch (Add incest, walkthrough choices, a continuation of an abandoned project, translation, etc.
  4. Any changelog notes the dev might feel beneficial
What say you?

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.

That one and half years ago, someone asked that all mods should include the game name in their archive name, and just this would already be a big life changer if it was used by more than few modders.
