Looks great (aside from a lot of noise in the renders that is most visible in the depth of field effects), but commits the cardinal sin of being incredibly boring.

Dialogue is good, but there's no hook to the plot. An aimless protagonist who is wishy-washy and over-delicate is one I would tend to avoid. This is fine for a secondary character, but it makes it incredibly hard to get into when it is the one who is supposed to be driving the action.

Oh, and the transitions are really jarring. It is really uncomfortable to change scenes abruptly with a straight cut, and this happens multiple times. The framing also causes a problem with the transitions, because some camera changes feel jerky because the composition doesn't complement the one before it. You need to hide this with softer transitions, or be more cognizant of what angles can be cut between without giving the viewer a headache.

My personal score is two, but it would be unfair to give it that given how nice the VN looks, and how crisp and readable the dialogue is. So three it is.

This could have the chops to be good, but the reviews here are a little overhyped. There's a lot of room for improvement.

Really strong start. Hot models and strong animation. Writing is good.

This will be well worth keeping up with for now. This has the potential to be super hot if they can deliver without dragging it out unnecessarily.

So far it's short but very sweet. The music is amazing and the story leaves me intrigued. But what really sells it are the models and the facial animations. The game won me over when she poured the vodka. So many games just have the same smile or sad face over and over.

This is one to keep an eye on for sure.

The opening sequence of Beachglass' first episode is a stunning visual feast. The renderings are top-notch, and the overall production quality is reminiscent of a feature film. The music and script complement each other beautifully, creating an immersive experience. OtterFly clearly knows how to tell a compelling story.

While the initial episode is promising, I'm hopeful that the narrative will explore a broader range of relationships for the protagonist. While a lesbian adventure is certainly intriguing, I'm curious to see if the character will also develop connections with male characters. This would add depth and complexity to her story, making her more relatable to a wider audience.

    Review as of Version V0.1

Not much to say, it's the best looking game I have played so far out of 140ish AVN's. Pretty decent animations and love the model of the FMC.

The only negative for me is I felt the pacing of the dialogue flowed a little too quickly at times. Not a major issue or anything

i'd probably only rate this as a 3 or maybe 3.5 star game if it wasn't for the renders and animations. so 4 star as I feel not enough content to give it a 5 a star.

As you can finish it like 20 minutes worth the download just to check out the renders

As the other reviewer mentioned, I can't think of another game on this site with as high of a production quality. Everything about it is top tier. The only thing you may not like is the genre. Its very much similar to shows like Skins or Degrassi or movies like Juno or Clerks. Which is not a bad thing for most people, but if you're not a fan of that "hyper down to earth" style, it may seem boring. That being said, I can see this being a top rated game if theres a sufficient amount of drama.

literally the best renders i've seen on f95, and the visual storytelling - expressions, scene composition, writing- are all totally top tier. Not much happens, very much a demo, but the quality seems out of this world
