Size dont rly matter in an unreal engine. Tekken 7 has like over 70 gigs and has like no game modes other than offline and online lol. Rest is pretty much taken up by cinematics.

Yeah,modern titles like Cyberpunk or Rdr 2 are already 100+gb, 14 gb is not much
there's shitty virtual novel porn games or whatever you call them that are just high-res lame pictures around the same size

Consider me mildly surprised Animo gave clear for release, I'll hold on to my zipper and hopes until I see exe file in my folders.
For anyone curious about 15 gigs... Animo's BTQ collection alone is also around 2.5gigs each at 720p, not even 1080p and with bonus videos it is about 14 gig itself, the teaser itself was 7gigs with basically diddly squat in it, that said, if you're into gaming you just know 14gig is nothing, it might look inflated for a porn(heh) game but in fact norm is 60-80gigs for AAA games these days, unreal engine or not, and as Jmon said uncompressed games with nothing in them can easily bloat in filesize just because it's using uncompressed png files;
I'm not kidding, the screenie is above my porn stash(Mygame, after QSP naming scheme) and 27 steam games, depending on depth and textures can get up to 100gig easily (or sim heavy ones like DCS that takes 261 gigs
), welcome to high-ish end pc gaming scales, hope you stay, might wanna invest in ssd's tho.

I don't understand the fascination with file size. The game is set on an island, with mostly stock assets and only a handful of models. The majority of that size probably goes to the island and the game engine running it.
This isn't a triple A game with dozens of unique characters, multiple locations, hundreds if not thousands of assets, highly detailed set pieces etc..

I think that you're right, most of the assets probably have giant file sizes so a lot of that 14 GB is probably dedicated to terrain, props, buildings, etc.

It is bigger than most 3d games on this website.But for what the game has to offer, and the quality of graphics 14 GB is really not much

Actually its because most of the downloaders cap you at 1mb/s. I have a 300 megabit connection (or 37.5 mb/s max speed) and I rarely see the free downloaders above 1 mb/s. Mega can go higher, but they have a 5 gb download limit per day, and I don't want to wait 3 days to download something.because some here run a 15 year old pc/lapstop i have noticed

AnonFile, GoFile and such forth cap at about 1 mb/s. Google drive doesn't, but almost no one uses Google drive.

GoFile caps your download speed?I only use GoFile because my download speed with it is like 35 mb/s.I thought it was the best one

I don't think anyone complained here. I am happy to see that as my game will be over 6 GB maybe more next year.
Well it regularly caps my speed. It might be when I download it too... like if a lot of people are using the link at the same time, it might throttle down speeds.

the is a site that lets you download without limit on the speed.
(my download speed on this site is 6.5mb/s but thats just my slow internet.)
You must be registered to see the links
you can upload as long as it is under the 15 gb (you could split the file in 2)
and it only stays 30 days on there but still... full speed downloads
i would recommend also putting a password on it

because ppl told me this before but clrealy dont understand, in the TOS it says CLEARLY : No REAL pornography
that means 3d - 2d anything that is NOT real life is IS ALLOWED.
