While that is the right thing to do, I don't get why animo does try to give release windows in the holiday season if it's more then likely that staff and/or help will not be available since this game is not worth to spend the holidays away from their family at work.

I have heard for a somewhat long time that he drip feeds us updates to rake in the sub money, and honestly the only reason i am subbed to him is that this might be the only 3d game that i actually really like, he has a discord but i have no idea who animo is, honestly don't even know if he ever uses discord, with other creators they interact with their community beynd just answering questions through emails.If this is true, or if there’s a similar reason for the delays, or honestly if he just can’t deliver and keeps lying about it, the developers really need to pay attention to this. This game has the potential to be one of the best and most playable ones in its genre, but this kind of marketing strategy is just... awful.
They’ve already made a great game with smooth animations and decent features, but the real selling point is still missing—the story. Sure, the main story is fine, but a lot of people are saying the h-scenes feel like cheap porn: plastic, shallow, and over the top. There’s no character progression, no discovery, no buildup. It’s missing that golden formula like in The Hero's Journey: the call, the refusal, the acceptance, leading to a proper character transformation as like become a lewd person from the shy etc.. That’s the kind of storytelling that sells in the NSFW game genre in my opinion, but it’s just not there.
But still even with less polished or lower-quality games out there, those devs are still managing to sell them. Why? Because they market them properly—they communicate, release updates, fix bugs, improve animations, and, most importantly, engage with their community. Here, though? Nobody even knows who’s actually behind this game, how they work, or why they keep throwing out the same bogus announcements and delays. It’s like some dev just copy-pastes the same lines every week about next relase. I thought, at the very least, they’d share the game here or give us real updates. But then I realized... nah, Easy Pete is just Easy Pete. Not from the dev team or anything.
What a shame, honestly...
Don't even know from where he is from, even his "info" tab on his website is useless, no communication skills, not that i dislike him for it, it's just a bit frustrating and if he weren't so talented i would have dropped him like a sack of shit. As far as i know he could honestly be an alien ai. No personality.

I remember when I was a teen full of hormones and played Tomb Raider Underworld for the first time I had to pause the game at some particular parts to, you know, have some fun.

Personally I prefer visually realistic games to have realistic proportioned characters. Leaving the nude mods and the big honkas to the modders.

Tell me. What exactly wasn't well proportioned in the old Lara model? (not the cartoonish ones, the last three) Are you stupid? Anyhow, deliberately uglified games WILL fail every time, so good luck with that...

They gave her the man face treatment. I have seen at least two "artists" of such games admit that they do this to be inclusive of trans people. LOL. Enjoy the fraction of the sales you could have had!

Yeah, i agree.
Western Developers have a huge issue with depiction of female "sexyness". Lara is kinda THE SEXSYMBOL of Videogames.
Uglyfying her is unfortunatly the agenda western developers have to deal with. Because remember 2024, Fucking over your audience/customers for Twitter/X revenue is way to go now.
Seeing them fail over and over again and targeting their audience for not buying their shit is soo funny.

I should just stop trying to predict when he's done and keep his fans more in the loop. Its not that hard to make weekly posts of what bugs have been adressed for instance. At least it would give us a bit of an indication of what is going on.
Either that or just not say anything at all, other then its done when its done.
