1 and half year for a release and 4 updates up to a complete game is most likely the fastest I've seen on this forum, if not the only one to actually finish a project.
Than his communication sucks, no doubts about that: if instead of Ep.2 he called it Tara under the Coliseum, everybody would be saying "Impossible! Just 4 moths between two games?! he must be an impostor it can't be Animo"

It's going to be over 5 months since last public update. You're not wrong, just missing the point. I don't mean to complain, I don't pay, but it's not like people today in 2025 are bitching about 2023 progress.
Progress Report Updates and "Communication" don't make the game get made faster. I'd imagine it's the opposite. That being said...

I can't understand the Guys who are pissed of, The guy is alone or has a little team to produce the game. And i find the game great! it would be sad, if he cancel the game to produce, if the most are so pissed of.

What the hell does that have to do with my main point? Whether it's an unreal engine game or RPGM, Animo has been doing this long enough to know exactly how to project manage and release things on a predictable schedule. NLT has been doing this for years and delivers a consistent update twice a month. You really should learn reading comprehension and be able to zero in on a person's point before making an asinine reply. Your reply is so mind numbingly stupid you're going on ignore. By your logic, grifters who've been using Ren`py and making VNs which are very straight forward should be just as reliable releasing updates for their VNs. But anyone who's been on this site long enough, knows that's not the case.

How do you know that he has been doing it for LONG ENOUGH? Are you a developer?
The complexity of 3D games is on a whole different level compared to VNs. With increased complexity comes a lot more things to figure out, and a much greater chance for things to go wrong.
If you want to compare this game to claim that Animo is lazy and incompetent, at least compare it with another 3D game—not with some bullcrap vn where you just click on pictures.
But I'm afraid we don't have many analogues to compare with.
