Let... me... save... had to restart too many times. *Do 5 puzzles, open bunker, collect chests etc = random bug that makes ass cheeks fly around at 100mph, restart and lose all that progress.
I redo all that then interact with campfire campfire and instantly die when im 10 feet away from it, lost all progress have to redo all the puzzles, re-open the bunker, re-open the chests... Like come on.... I'm over an hour in and just want to pull my hair out for real.
Version number doesn't help here that much, of course, the newer is better. Fact about flying in the sky - it's engine' incurable bug
(in origin, ue3 has it although); has no matter which settings you've playing on, high fps or low - and you still may got this or similar (spinning around) bug. Nobody, read this again, NOBODY AND NO ONE can or would ever create fix(es) for this, not an Animo's group or anyone else
(all devs, especially epic themselves, says "fuck you" to every customer\player\etc., they just don't care, monopoly that it).
To prevent:
1. If you play on public "free" version downloaded from official site aka dot-com - delete it and forget about the address, only full "supporters" version
(this topic) of the game(s) provides you not so butthurtful immersion;
2. Slightly low your graphics settings: off the reflections, bloom, AA, steam effects, set on low visibility distance and amount of objects (parameters near to each other);
3. Do fast saves in very start of any next location area (or couple of saves, i.e. after any serious action), because autosave may bust some states
(still happening sometimes);
4. Try not to act so rapidly on anything (jumping, fighting, etc.), take a time to do actions steady & carefully, w\o panic and hitting keys thousand times in the second;
5. There is a couple of places where you can get bugs: step ladder (left side) in the lake location, totem area (lower chamber and top floor, where secrets), crawling vent after bridge pass (do not accelerate in there), stairs and 'water' canals in the horus room; most of bugs are the result of previous option line;
6. If it happens anyway - reload save from the last quicksave where you don't have this state;
7. The very small chance, but sure can help - start completely new game, NOT NG+.
The game, even after patches, still has (and in the future there still would be have) so many undecided, for the devs but not for testers, bugs & errors that they toss on a far back shelf. You've already heard their solutions, "go buy a new PC and videocard", "it just wurks" and so on.
