Nor did they say it was. But you're the one who said it should have an abandoned tag, even though it meets none of the requirements.
I'd recommend you remind yourself of the official abandoned tag definitions, in the Game Uploading Rules thread.
The game received its latest update only 7 months ago, so it doesn't meet the third definition. And as Astrel correctly points out, it receives regular news, so doesn't meet the second.
eh i wouldn't really call that last release an update, it was a stand alone 'demo' showing off a few animations from a new enemy.. not an addition to the full game. it's been over a year since the last 'update' to episode one, and all those episode 1 updates were mostly bug fixes not content. It's been over 2 years since ep1 initial release.

Update on test build
Test build is almost there, but i need couple more days to fix some bugs, due to updates. We recentely added some new features there, and we need to fix some cirtical issues there before the release.
Tentacle scenes themselves are fully ready though.

For anyone wondering/being upset that he didn't release the build when he said. This is from his discord FAQ and it should tell you everything.
