How do you know that he has been doing it for LONG ENOUGH? Are you a developer?What the hell does that have to do with my main point? Whether it's an unreal engine game or RPGM, Animo has been doing this long enough to know exactly how to project manage and release things on a predictable schedule.
The complexity of 3D games is on a whole different level compared to VNs. With increased complexity comes a lot more things to figure out, and a much greater chance for things to go wrong.
If you want to compare this game to claim that Animo is lazy and incompetent, at least compare it with another 3D game—not with some bullcrap vn where you just click on pictures.
But I'm afraid we don't have many analogues to compare with.
