Can't understand much of the hate on this thread for this demo. Bruh he really said that it will be just a skeleton enemy demo with one scene, and it was. Location, environment, it looks amazing (besides sound). My point is, it's literally the same demo as 1 of June 2023 demo of the tomb. Is it too short and didn't have to be delayed for 1,5 months for the amount we got? Yeah. Animo never hit a deadline idk what you expected now? Judging by this demo, this is the same situation of EP1, demo 3 months before release. So it means ep 2 in march or april

See that? August 9th. 5 months for a small update. Just because the dev says its small doesn't make it ok. As I always say, for me this is free so I shouldn't complain, but this is why people are complaining. 5 months for 1 scene.

Ye but he is cooking ep2, this demo was unnecessary but it shows that there is work done. I mean people waited 1,5 years for ep1 to come out, and in 1,5 years after ep1, ep 2 should be out. So there is consistency (Animo is shit on deadlines)
With this way of thinking, he could have slightly altered the color of the sand on the beach and you could technically say 'work has been done'. I mean yes but what is the point of this defense? 1 scene for 5 months and skeletons (that I swear I have been seeing teased for like a year) is going to have people complain and they are right to do so. We just have to hope that the people actually funding his Patreon get upset or this game will be like so many others (Legend of Queen Opala) that turn into 'forever projects' that the devs basically use as a retirement home lmao.
I don't really follow the 1.5 years thing, I'm not sure what episode 2 even is. But if it takes 5 months for 1 scene how will it take only 1.5 years? I could be just not understanding something here tho

38 comments on his post, it's just feedback. But this is not a recolor or smth. It's the same thing as with ep1, the majority of the content and anims are not shown before release. He already showed amazing locations and some mechanics in previews on his substar. This build was just to test the enemy, nothing more. What upsets me is that he delayed it for months when they could just work for ep2 already. Besides that, the overall location, atmosphere of this even small demo, for a porn game, nailed. The animation, even short and already shown 2 years ago, it's still good. I am not defending him anyhow, he feeds most of the time bullshit to people, but this game, or better said, what it will be, is one of the best 3d porn game on this site.
OK you know more about it than me. I just see what comes in the releases here and assume that's what he's done. I am skeptical about having all this work you talk about and it's not actually in the release but fair enough, you actually follow this.

I understand, i was too before ep1 came out. It would be dissapointing if ep2 will be shit but knowing that it will have (as he said):
Boss fight at the end of the level
horse that you can ride and fuck at any time
a hut which is a base that you can repair with lots of animations inside
a ton of new secrets and at least 6 main locations
masturbation mechanic with 3 types, pussy, cock, and toys
12 new outfits
more puzzles and cutscenes
If this is all delivered, that wait is worth it

At this point, we will get Half-Life 3 and Concord 2 before episode 2 comes out.
Back in 2022 he posted these two skeletal examples. we have now received one. I guess another test build with the second scene will come in the summer of 25. The show must go on.
