Today (v3.48) it fells like a default patreon money-milking project.

While I enjoy the VN style of games, as well as point and click games, it is so refreshing to play a Adult Game that appears (at least on the surface) more of a gameplay first approach!

The Rhythm based gameplay is entertaining and by providing multiple difficulty levels, the developer encourages and provides replay value. The art style is simple but enjoyable and the animation responding to the beat is very satisfying.

I look forward to seeing where this project goes!

Great game. Few rough issues and needs more content.

I've been watching this game for a while since it first showed up on here. I didn't want to give it a try until much later as it was the devs first game, it was in Godot engine which isn't used a lot, and the art style looked great. I wanted to just let them do their thing and come back. And I did, for this update. I finally installed it and gave it a whirl.

Beat Banger's story isn't anything meaningful. You're a furry and you get hired as a production assistant for whats essentially a cam studio. Being there's no males around you get hoisted into the role of being the dick.

The gameplay is top notch. Very easy to difficult for a rhythm game. I played Guitar hero religiously throughout my youth alongside flash rhythm games like Super Crazy Guitar Maniac so it wasn't that hard. But I can understand it being pretty grueling for anyone without some experience in rhythm games on a keyboard.

My main issue with the gameplay is that the beat notes come in from the left to right. This is terrible. I understand its to not block the sex scene thats playing to the beat, but you aren't looking at the scene if you are legitimately playing the game. There is no reason for it to be a scroll at the bottom when it should come from the top down. This is far more intuitive for anyone coming into the game. Hell just make it an option. The reason why I feel strongly about this is because someone who is doing it for the porn will just immediately unlock the no fail and no hud options in the game shop. So its all a moot point to have the beat chart scroll the way it does. I know theres probably a mod for this that changes it, but it really should be default in the game.

Art is solid. Animations are solid. Voiceacting is superb. Everything about the game's art and music and voice is top tier. Some of the best I've seen on this site and in the wiser 2d porn game industry. It shocks me this is a furry game with this level of quality because you don't see that in niche areas of porn like that as people will try to stick mainstream for as much fans and money as possible.

My only other concern is the game will take too long to become a complete product. Right now theres 4 scenes and a bunch of static gallery images you need to grind to unlock as well as beat the expert challenges. This is great but the core animations and scenes are really what people are here for and it feels just a bit lacking as its been nearly 3 years since first release.

I still have confidence in the dev. They are very communicative, update as much as they can, and don't seem to be at all trying the patreon grift. So I have little doubt this will become better and better.

4/5. Some mildly infuriating gameplay HUD elements and some content is a bit lacking but it more than makes up for it in everything else. God damn I wish games had the love put into it this game does.

Don't rate a lot of games often, but this is one of a few exceptions. I enjoy rhythm games and this was excellent. The animation and how much work the developer put in to make the beats match the movements show how much passion they have. I can't wait to see how this game progresses. REALLY, it was a pleasure to play, and the way they show how much more content they plan on releasing, makes you look forward to what they come out with.

Great baseline so far. I'd appreciate a calibration system, as playing with headphones seems to give a bit of a delay. I'm personally more of a stickler for reasonable body proportions but I can deal with this, the artstyle is great in any case

Well what can i say Beat Bangers is the best porn rythm game i played to date.

And i doubt it can become any better except for more content down the line.

Now following are more detailed nitpicks i have:

Art is right up my ally style wise, though the proportions are sometimes a bit too exagerated (i am looking at you dump truck cat...).

Animation is smooth and hot. Shame that because of the gameplay it is basically impossible to enjoy it while normally playing the game.

It is very forgiving for hitting notes, and one of the few rythm games i played where i had the feeling of actually beeing able to play just by listening to the music. But it still needs some focus so there is an inherent conflict of interest here that can not really be resolved easily. Thankfully the devs added nice options for "hands free" play to enjoy the animations standalone, but still it just feels kinda frustrating in a way i have myself no idea how to solve.

On the engineering side of things there is no complains. UI is stylish and spot on, very juicy. Nice options that actually work (sadly an actual plus point for porn games T.T), with keyrebind. I don't really get the hate for horzontal notes vs. vertical notes (like srs are you braindead? Saying a game is bad just because of that means you literally don't know what you are talking about) but just to shut those people up, yeah an option for choosing could be added down the line.

The music is good, but a little bit more genre variety would have been nice instead of only electronic beat music. Tying the music more to the characters and thus giving additional personality would be sweet, but probably already a tall ask.

The only point i fear for really is if they can keep up with their production. Doing original multi-part animations for each beat... i just hope this will not be a 5+ years devtime kinda deal.

Ohh well will see how far they will be able to come, but for everyone else PLAY THIS NOW!!!

The notes should come up to down, like Guitar Hero,
The music is good, the gameplay is enjoyable,
But the notes coming left to right are bad/lazy
They do need to come vertically and have the buttons down there to make it easier and more fun.
Until that can be done, it's a 3.5-star game, giving it a 4 to encourage devs, 5 stars when the notes are fixed.

Fun game. Wished there was a modifier that had the notes trickle guitar hero style or Beatmania style but for a game inspired by cock hero videos it's really fun! The UI and general aesthetic is very polished. Going through the menus is intuitive and there's always small details that are animated like if you were playing a Persona game.

One of the few games I play bc I enjoy the gameplay. The voice actors, animation even the UI of the game is really nice, I highly recomend trying this game at least once even if you are not a fan of furries like I am.

Pros:
Art is great, animations are smooth. Expressions are especially good.
Each character has a distinct personality that really comes across well despite how little dialogue there is.
Gameplay is simple, but well done. Difficulty scaling is done very well too.
Music is really good.

Uhhh... nothing really.

it's a great game where problems can actually count as features
art : 4/5 the art is great , if you like furry , but i'd say i played games with more details in the drawings but every artist has his own unique vision and i have 0 complaints about the drawing here
gameplay : it's fun and you can pick the difficulty that you prefer , there's the easy one that is not hard at all , there's the normal one which is pretty challenging for my slow hands. and there's the expert mode for asians (this is a joke don't get offended please ).
something to note , actually when i was trying to clear levels i had to try so hard to not focus on the scene so i don't mess up , self control building lvl god , then you can watch scenes on hands off mode as much as you want after clearing the level. i like the difficulty of the gameplay cuse i'm sick of virtual novels.

i'd say this is a you have to play if you don't mind furry porn and you like challenging gameplay where you need to practice to actually be able to beat the game (didn't take long for me).

premium quality and voiced its really a nice game i hope it brings out new stuff regulary so I can enjoy it. So far only 3 finished levels but you can unlock stuff by gaining coins. So yeah pls add more poses and maybe a bit backstory and character personality for the girls

Review of Version 2.90

A sex rythm game. A combination which is already destined for failure.

Cons:
-Who thought its a good idea to make a sex game where you have to constantly focus on the game while sex is happening that you would like to watch????? I dont get it. You cant enjoy the porn since you have to beat the rythm game. And then you could say "Yeah but you unlock it and then you can watch it." or " play no fail mode" or "use the cheat so it plays itself". All these things work against the concept of a SEX GAME.
In the end I just could go and watch the animations on a website. This counts for every game but in other games the sex is implemented in a way that goes together wíth the gameplay. Here it feels more the gameplay is fighting the porn and vice versa.
-The rythm is off. I play guitar hero on extreme and piano and I can't get a feel for a precise tact or rythm in this game. The button inputs dont feel fitting to the music and its beat. This is especially seeable in the parts where you have not many inputs. When you get multiple inputs in a row than they create their own rythm and you can adapt to that. But if there a single notes than you can only go for the visual clues.
-This is a V2.90 and it really lacks in content. A game that is a 2.90 version indicates for me its over a 1.0 version which is usually a finished product.
But you see a lot of "Coming Soon" and the story mode is currently finished in about 10-20 minutes.


Pros:
+ The music is really good. I can see myself listening to some songs.
+Mod implementation. Its always a big move for a developer to let other contribute to his project. Just dont let the modders finish your work for you (filling it with content).
+The art and animations are also very very good.
+You are able to cheat so that you can play the game to your liking.
+The story is ideal for a sex game.
+Voice acting, The voice acting is very good and the homour hits way better than Dragon Sleuth Brittany for example.(Showing that a furry game in a sex driven world can have decent dialogues)

All in all the bad combination of gameplay and porn and the lack of content hold this game back from being a really good game. The first page said its BunFans first game and for what it can show its really good. A nice castle built on a muddy foundation.

Art, voice, and music are pretty good, but there's a pretty big issue being that I don't really see the scenes most of the time because I'm busy focusing on the rhythm game. I'd think a UI change would help this, but I guess that'd introduce the issue of obstructing the art. An option for that would be really good, though. Going to keep an eye on this one at least for the art alone.

Art and voice-acting are straight up amazing, but the music sounds pretty bland to my taste. The only real flaw that I can think of is that you need to complete the rhythm section first before watching the scenes "properly", but re-watching them right after completion just to jerk off is not nearly that interesting and arousing as the first time you see them

Simply amazing. The art is top tier along with the animations, the voiceacting fits the characters and sound really hot, the music is amazingly catchy (I'm in love with the extras menu theme), everything is just incredibly good quality, I'll surely be following closely on this game and I can't wait to see more of it

The first furry that I've ever played. It isn't my thing, but the concept seemed really fun and like an actual game so I gave it a spin. It's a short, but very well made demo that seems to be the best made nsfw-music game I've ever encountered. Great beats, a fun little weird comic-style narration with some voice acting. Even if you don't fap to this like yours truly, it's just a neat little rythm game with a decent challenge.

Good luck to the devs, this could be a game that it's actually good and fun to play. Five star rating for the finished product is likely if the quality is maintained throughout the development cycle.

Even though the game is simple, it's fun. And hot. I don't even mind that the girls are furries - they're hot enough. Can't wait to see how this develops as it continues. Might actually be my first patreon supporter.

For what it is, it's a solid prototype. But that's about it. I honestly expected the game to have come out with a bit more content, for a version aptly numbered 2.891. But I suppose I can talk about what it has right now.

The main attraction here would be the music, it's good but lacks variety. It's very much made to be jacked off to as a focus. However, there's not much progression it feels like for both Cathy and Zoe. Would love to see more genres come into play.

The art is very much polished from last time, the sketches were worked on and now we have pretty damn good animations. However the characters and theme of it all is going to get a minus from me. The game feels empty overall because of their use of black. Polished as it is, the game feels like it lacks personality a bit with its clean look. I'd think more usage of its main colours would help out a lot with this, and some geometric motifs with music involved.

Character design for the starting three characters is pretty hot, but needs more flair. I would love to see the characters' clothes reworked at least so they seem a bit more appealing design-wise, more specifically clothes that show off their personality.

incredibly early alpha, but shows a lot of potential.

the presentation is sky-high here -- all of the art and animation is skillfully crafted, it's got solid voice acting, and the music is well-produced, too. even the screen transitions are professional.

i do hope they pivot into different music genres: what they have going right now isn't really for me; it's very youtube background music. too upbeat to be all that sexy. sex music for me is four-on-the-floor house, downtempo, and darker trance, but i've hit it to Black Flag Family Man before, so take me with a grain of salt.
