New VA for Zoe and Dawna has been hired. Apparently they're going to try to hurry up and get the new recordings for the content including those characters (which would include the level that's being worked on).

Are they gonna re-record the levels they already had? I didn't like Dawna's voice that much, but Zoe was my favorite bar none, losing what she already had would be regrettable.

I mean, yeah, that seems to be the plan. It would be weird for them to have those characters' voices be by one VA in only one volume, in the grand scheme of things where there will be multiple volumes.

As for whether you or anyone else will like that voice as much, more, or less, we'll have to see.

I think this may be missing some perspective. Fan content is part of community, and community building and support is good. But it's not like good fan content is going to be given reverence by the devs to such a length that people will be given preferential treatment for making it. Especially if the person involved is also going to cause problems in said community.

Like, seriously though. Whether people like mod content is irrelevant to the moderation of a Discord. You could think of all kinds of other potential reasons to complain about the moderation, but this not the angle.

Yup. Took 5 minutes. Here's the new Zoe level in mod form. It's still not finished but there's a lot there. Seems to stop short on expert though, not sure what that's about.
