mods.beatbanger.com Entire* Mod Scrape
* because some posts have been deleted(?), but the posts that remain are scraped in their entirety.

I decided to take on the task of saving every mod from the mods.beatbanger.com library, both for archival sake and ease of installing mods. The following is a ~80GB .zip file containing the mods, as well as their thumbnails, so you can decide whether or not you want to install that mod. The scrape contains posts 2-1802, the last post made before the team abandoned the website I guess.

Notes:
  1. I did NOT (for the most part) manually download the mods and their thumbnails, I wrote a Python script to do so. If the website ever gets updated, I'll share the script here.
  2. There are gaps in the collection, if you have any of these mods, let me know so I can add it to the .zip.
  3. The mods are a mix of legacy, demo, and modern mods; if anyone wants to sort them into their versions (or write a script for it), I'd appreciate it.
  4. If you do decide to play a legacy/demo mod, use their respective versions (or use a legacy to modern converter that's somewhere in this thread).
Download: (Buzzheavier upload pending...)

Any feedback/suggestions are welcome.

Happy modding.
Can I download depending on what I want, like choosing the mods I want? Similar to how MEGA lets you pick files?

I agree. Massive work for scrapping +80gbs worth of modding material, but uhhh...my SSD is kinda full atm. Would be better if someone reuploaded all individual ones through MEGA for easier loads.

Just downloaded the monster, now I need to short all the mods in their game, the versions are:

"Release" "Legacy" and "Demo?" Where Demo mods go? I kinda joined this crazy fandom like half month ago.

CORRECTION: Demo mods refers to the public demo, so versions 2.x, and this is in between legacy and modern mods. So the structure is legacy, demo, and modern. I don't know what retard at Beat Banger studios thought it was a good idea to have two seperate public demos, but the "demo" mods refers to the one that came later on in the game's development. Ignore the below information.

I believe "demo" mods were the ones used with the first(?) public release of Beat Banger, so even before Legacy, and that version can be found . Thinking about this complicated version structure now, I believe demo mods and legacy mods are one of the same thing. I could be wrong, though, so if anyone could corroborate/correct me, that would be nice.

Or maybe I'm confusing "demo" mods with "beta" mods.

I'm lost, apologies.

Oh, and I'm sorry if I talk too much. Also, please don't forget to include image previews for the mods. I know it takes a lot of time to take the screenshots, but it would really help if you could put in the effort. That way, people can see what the mods look like before they choose which ones to download.

After many hours, the MEGA folders are up (with thumbnails). I blame my ISP for such shitty upload rates.

I was thinking one can pick and choose their mods using a dual-window setup like this, and highlighting the one's they want.

Or just download them in however way they want, I don't care.

I'm tired.

Don't apologize for that lol, we will short out together, impresive job here +80GB of mods is something you don't find every day, the oficial discord have a section for mods, quite good for new releases, but god help you if you missed something, even with the "mod search" tab. I've been reading about how often the official game updates with new things and it's really slow, it kinda sucks because the animation quality is really good, but good things takes time to get done.

Happens the same with Summertime Saga, Mr Cookie update the Tech Version of the game monthly, but he keep the stable version and the Tech apart, you can eat small cookies, or wait and have a feast.
