Ren'Py - Beauty and the Thug [v0.3.5b] [Ze-gam-eZ]

Excellent concept so far, I'm excited to see where this goes.

Corruption system is fantastic, easily one of my favorites on this site.
Story is sensible and not too outrageous so keeps you engaged.
Renders are great, with a great way to unlock new fetishes.

Early on, completion of Day 1, I’m enjoying this.

The narration/dialogue is spotty (in translation) and somewhat ‘simple-minded’, yet the content of the thoughts is reasonably interesting and certainly not lazy from the author at all.

I find the pacing to be relatively relaxing and match up well with the images and personality of the MC. The images themselves are often times impressive and notably numerous. We’re not getting a single shot with 3-5 clicks of text on top. It’s non-stop imaging instead, each of which is plenty more than just a slight readjustment on the model - an astounding amount of effort for the Dev to undertake. Subjectively, I’m all about expressive nipples and an especially puffy peach of a pussy. Even the pubic hair is often handled artistically. Love it.

Same goes for animations. Some are a little janky but the effort and exemplary approach is often astounding. Well above the vast majority of what you might scrum up elsewhere. And plenty erotic as well.

From a gameplay perspective there appears to be a ton of attention spent on dynamics and variety. The tools (and tracking) are pretty intuitive and add a fair amount of immersion, delicately handled in a manner that matches the general aesthetic overall. Choices appear to matter plenty. I’m not yet sure how these might affect things long-term but for now there appears to be a lot of depth to it and a very good reason to flirt with other options. It’s always difficult to manage FOMO there but at this point it appears to be nothing but a plus (you’ve got options and they count/reward).

Going forward, I’m interested to see where her untarnished nature may lead us. The backstory is simple enough while engaging. And she’s clearly an open book (while not at all blank nor puritan). Indicators are there that may lead to all sorts of dynamics and stretching of boundaries; some opportunities for tension and release. She’s got a body/design that’s perfect for such a scenario. While the tools are there to afford me some reasonable control of the outcome. What more could you want, eh?

In summary, there’s no lazy here at all. The Dev went All In and I can only tip my cap to that. Has the potential to end up on my short list of Best. Too early to tell (where I’m at in the content) but enough so to compel me to already add a review, eh…

Finally a game that not only embraces pubic hair, but armpit hair too! Love it! And what's more, they went to the trouble of making every render insta-toggle between no hair and ful natural, never seen that before!
It's a shame the game doesn't allow you to free-play even though the 'days are up' though. There's a lot more that I know I haven't seen, but I can't play yet :/ It would be nice if we could just keep playing without getting any new main story.
Renders are very well done and the animations are great too. Only a handful games do it better. The pubic hair toggle is very special and worthy of praise too! (though of course, why would you want to turn it off )
The progression and corruption works very well too, you really feel the MC getting more slutty, if you want her to.
On that note, it should be made more obvious that watching porn is the only way to unlock / level up fetishes. Playing without the walkthrough, I totally missed that.

Amazing story, graphics,animations. Very good job has been done so far here. A lot of triggering action options involve. But...This is not the game i would like to play more, i have just tried it. It demands brain cells to work when you play this game, and i am not that type of gamer with this kind of game. It takes time to play this game and achive something. I dont have spare time for this kind of game. Must say again, awsome job with story and graphics. Top. But...My wife almost caught me playing the game I dont have spare life either... Keep doing great job. Amazing game.

Promising start.

The MC is beautiful, and the corruption doesn't feel forced like so many others in the genre seem to. The sex scenes (while I didn't get many) were very spicy, and I appreciated the fetish mechanic a lot. (Picked the foot fetish porn and homegirl started damn near deepthroating her own foot. Like, damn, okay. Go off, girl.

Only con is that, and I'm not sure if I played the game too safely or what, but I didn't get a ton of sexual content in my playthrough.

Also, the MC has a doll of Marie Rose from Dead or Alive, but she just acts like it's a normal doll and never acknowledges that it's Marie fucking Rose. As a DoA fan that felt so surreal. Haha.

Graphics are excellent and the story is good.

Been allot of back and forth about the hair stuff, lol. well, personally I Think girls should only have hair on their head and that's it. But if it's nicely shaped, I don't mind it. In this game the hair thing just looks kinda weird, so I'd advice to turn that S... off.

But besides that this is a really nice game.

I'm aware the author wants to give a slow pace for it, but this way is boring...

I don't like female-protagonist games (because the MC is always emotionally/intellectually stunted ...and I don't get to corrupt them) but I downloaded this one by accident after looking at the images and was still impressed.

The day loop can get a bit repetitive although in general I Like sandbox. The UI/development quality is high as are the renders. The poses are especially excellent

Hopefully I'll see this girl and her cameltoe in a male-protagonist game sometime

Great story, great graphics, great game. And I absolutely LOVE the pubic hair in this game! Amazing work! Can't wait to see more of it. In my first play I missed the lesbian route. Would be nice if i had known in advance that this is irreversible.

Beauty and the Thug is a sandbox style game involving a naive beauty and the brutal mafia capo who has an unhealthy fascination with her. It seems to be early in development as of yet, as there isn't a huge amount of content, but there's the beginning of something somewhat interesting.

I think what bothers me most about the game is the MC feels like a seven year old stuffed in an eighteen year old's body. All her fond memories trace back to when she was very young, she engages with everything with a very youthful naivete, and she has raunchy dreams involving her doll. This might be only a me thing, but I have difficulty seeing her as any flavor of teenager. It makes me a little uncomfortable at times.

This doesn't pair well with the mafia capo with a heart of gold who seems to be the main love interest. The players have seen far more of him than she has, but the forced date with him makes it very evident who he is. Dating a guy (or girl) with the intention to "fix" them is a sure fire failure and I'm not looking forward to him chewing the MC up and spitting her out. I'm hoping there will be paths where the MC can minimize his interaction, but he seems uncomfortably obsessed for no justifiable reason.

There's a lot of lewd content in the game, but you basically need to follow a step by step walkthrough of the game to figure it out. Boosting fetishes requires you to find the right activity in the right order and it's not intuitive at all. For instance, boosting exhibitionism could be working at the car wash, going to the laundromat, ordering pizza, going to the beach, or going to the park. You need to figure out which one of these events will boost your stat, and several of them have multiple options, only one of which seems to work. It's frustrating in the extreme.

The renders and animations are quite good in the game. There appear to be a decent number of female characters, so hopefully we'll get to see a good bit of variety. There are already a pretty decent number of scenes... if you can find them.

Overall, I'm curious as to where this game will be in a few patches, but not super impressed with it as of yet. It feels like one of the many html style sandbox games on this site, only with good images and a lot more clicking to advance events. It has the potential to be better than this rating, but it isn't at the moment.

Great game, covers many things, great exhib stuff. Not grindy at all and has great sandbox elements. Definitely recommend if you like open game, and you can choose to guide what the character is into.

The gameplay loops is not fully finalized, but the developer is making major progress steps towards it every release. Releases has been consistent so far.

One of the best custom fetish oriented games on the site. The ability to choose exactly what you want and not want to see, combined with the high quality of the renders makes this game an awesome experience.

I really love this game so far. It is a nice diversion from all those romancePlainSexGames. This game surpasses the others in the representation of masturbation. That's the aspect where this game really shines. I would really like to see more of it.

Lovely game with a very sexy (hot) MC! Keep up the great work! The graphics are, in my opinion superb with multiple views in many cases. The plus side for this is it's visually stunning at times but the downside is that it'll get huge, although some are repeated (e.g. masturbation, shower and bath etc.

Nice to see that although it's a corruption game this doesn't happen immediately (no sex in 1st week) so a nice build up. Main story will start with the next release, therefore the current is, effectively, the intro...

There are multiple fetish options available to try so, especially for a RenPy game, the replay ability is high which is great to see.

I'm going to be completely honest here, the visuals, story, sex scenes and kinks, are all 4/5 or 5/5. My only problem with the VN is that I can't get invested in the MC, I don't know why, it might be that its because it is told from a third person POV, i feel like the game should either be told from A male characters perspective corrupting the girl, or from a First person POV perspective... The combination of 3rd person, with first person narrative really made the game fall flat for me. Maybe i just can't sympathize with female MC though, IDK because its caught between female POV and third person so i can't really get into the VN tbh...

Well... I think 'good' fits the description well. Nothing amazing yet far From terrible, deffinitely Worth a shot, that Is, if you don't mind downloading 4 gigs for 0.0.7. version ... X)

- just Common fetishes you can find in any other game, except for hairs and, maybe, urination.
- you can only "date" hunter (a.k.a. the thug) OR another girl, no other choices are available and are not even planned. It is just like the title says, "beauty and the thug", nothing else. You can watch stuff on the internet and help her discover new fetishes but game will always be only about one pair, be it you and hunter or you and the random girl. I don't know how the dev wants to keep the audience enternained only with this but alright.

In summary - visually great game about a Young MC that moves into a new time looking fór a job And she starts to explore her sexual fantasies in the meantime.
Graphically really amazing but lacks a good story and some unique fetishes.

Nice render, i love it. Hair on characters body is a matter of taste, but its not looks something bad, rather give more personality. Story too short and simplified, but i hope it makes more complicated in future. And game needs a gallery of course. Go furher, project looks very promising, good luck
