Considering the age of the game it has very little content, even Ocean is left behind. But in quality it's nowhere near as good. Even considering that Dev made some kind of a remake, it's still too little.

Older version of the game was NTR/Cuck focused game, the new one seems lees focused on NTR, but you still can see that Dev enjoys creating exactly this type of content.

He probably wanted to get more supporters hence decided to play both sides (cuck/love). And when Dev who specializes on creating cuck content tries to integrate other paths - we get this game.
What do I mean by that:
- not appealing story;
- bold, empty characters (bad written), who acts abruptly, illogical;
- even on non-NTR path you still get cuckish vibers sometimes;
- writing could be polished (mildly saying) as well;

Obviously Dev sometimes is being at a total loss as how to progress the story that was supposed to be NTR-only, hence updates are very rare, only fully devoted subscribers will keep supporting him this way. My humble opinion - he should have held onto his original idea instead of trying to satisfy vanilla players, cause only few of them will play the game with periodical cuckish vibes.

MC is spineless cuck (but it is expected in a NTR focused game, which it was originally), for example Claire after meeting the BBC in the gym (almost love from the first sight lol) just out of a blue tells MC that she would like to have some fun with other guys (talking about absolutely abrupt behaviour from bad-written characters) and MC is like" "Of course darling, why not".
Anyway the game is just bad, it should have been left in it's original direction. In it's current stage I think it won't satisfy fully NTR lovers and vanilla players will be pissed too.

Only positive thing from here is that girl models are good, but that's it

The 5* ratings pretty much have become a meme on this Site, because it seems to be enough to have good renders and the 5* are yours.
At least that's how I can explain that, because this game is nowhere near 4-5 stars.
It's incredible, that this game has been in development since 2018, and still offers so little content, and has a story that is so slow-burn, at a milking pace.
The story is so boring, just like the characters and their conversations between each other.
I guess this is supposed to be about NTR and sharing, but this game feels all over the place and also being nowhere.
What I mean by this is, that you often times switch between both MC's and click through many conversations and scenes, that offer little to no substance.
There is little to no action to be seen here, and the "corruption" part is really corny.
I really don't like the male MC. He seems like a spineless cuck.
You'd like to think that if this game focuses more on the visuals, it would at least offer good sex scenes.
But that is also not the case. The sex scenes are very few, really short and unmemorable.
All in all, this VN is a waste of time, that offers little to no substance, and will take a place on my ignore list.

The new Because I love her is better and more realistic story.
I love the story build up and choices you get, a few spelling errors but those can be fixed.
The renders are very nice.
The models used for the women are very pretty.

Definitely have a huge potential, the heroines are one of the prettiest I've ever seen in a game, and the relationship between Claire and the protagonist is something really cool, because they have a real talk about everything and this really feels good. Good job and keep going forward

when i played Because I Love Her for the first time (old versions) I feel a mix of feelings. The game has a large potential, but something was wrong. The final of the old version was a conclusion: a very bad ending.

I will rating based in the quality of ntr content here. I'm not design, so I will not judge the game for art (despite I'm not an idiot and I see that this art is well maded). I like good stories and good plots, I'm a enjoyer of good dialogues and these are what I will rate here.

I think games based on ntr have naturally a trouble: they don't understand what really the public who like ntr really like. So, I saw three forms: 1 - classical netorare - the typical game where the wife love the husband but is blackmailed or corrupted by other guy and is fucked without husband consent; 2 - netori - the worseful (in my opinion) form of ntr, the wife is literally a sociopath and cheat her husband without any guilty or remorse; 3 - netorase - similar to sharing and swinging. Finally the husband validation is a point, but it's not exactly like cuckolding.

In the end, ntr is the asiatic word for cuckolding, swinging or cheating, only that. But why exactly people want to be cheated? I think the typist could created paths to please greeks and trojans: A harem or vanilla path for normies (sorry guys); soft-hotwifing for who like exibiothionism, swing\sharing without any humiliation; And finally a hardcore-hotwife path for the people who really enjoy cuckolding.

This remake is being a great improvement for the game. In the past I always think why the mc could like to share your wife, but he never enjoy it. My favourite scene was that sexygame where the black guy, the mc, his wife and her friend takes the clothes off and ending with the wife doing a blowjob in the black guy. That moment was amazing, but honestly: why the wife collapse and corrupt so fast? The funniest part in the cuckolding kink is the long arc where the wife turns herself in a hotwife. begnning, mid-game (WHEN THE FUNNY HAPPENS) and end-game (moral hangover?) I used to really love Because I Love Her for its bold look at NTR, and sharing. However, the newer version is moving at what could only be called a snail's pace.
Though the updated models/graphics are incredible, and the women do look hot, I am not enjoying the story. Even with the promise of some sharing scenes, I doubt we're going to get there anytime soon with how slow of a burn this is.
I am sorry, but I cannot recommend this game anymore. I had to change my score to a Poor to match the slow story/narrative.

This is a unique situation. The game "Because I Love Her" has two versions. The old version had some supernatural elements, heavy cuckolding, and inconsistent pacing. The new version is going for realism, minimal cucking, and only updates a handful of times a year.

If I was judging the original game, I'd give 4/5 stars because even though the story is mediocre, the visuals are hot and erotic.

Dev started making a visual novel a long time ago and had completely different ideas for the story than he does now. Or maybe he wasn't happy with the render quality and scenes of the original. Whatever the reason, it is being remade from scratch. Is it better than the original? I guess. But is the story worth remaking? Or the characters? Nah. Not by a long shot.

Basically the remake made NTR less of a focus. But it still has NTR. The people that dont like NTR dont want to play the game anyways, and putting less of a focus on it makes cucks annoyed too. The entire game is like 20 minutes long, no? There's maybe 5 major scene groups. Whether you like or dislike the story doesn't really matter because it's over in a few minutes.

I guess if I had to be objective the render art is good, and dialogue sounds believable, but again, I must repeat myself, it's like 20 minutes long! I suppose it's a good start to a project, but this is nowhere near even a partially completed game, it feels like an alpha teaser of an alpha.

Well this one is difficult to review. Generally it has nice genders a pretty attractive females. The story in chapter one is interesting but has a lot of flaws. For example John sometimes behave totally pathetic and sometimes like fully in control. There is a lot of options but just few which directs you where you want the story to go. In chapter 1 is poorly managed sex scenes. Like one click is starting the scene and the second "finished, i needed that". Chapter 2 has improved this scenes but so far the story is barely related to chapter 1 and not really catching for now.

New version is all about character building and making a better story. Also splitting the romance (non-ntr) and ntr path so they are basically two different games. This way, those who want romance will never have to deal with ntr whatsoever, while those who want ntr, will get plenty of it on a different path. Now they shouldn't mesh together like before.

Writing the review about chapter 2 which is a remake of the whole story we have seen so far and in comparison with the previous game its a totally different experience for example the renders are very high quality the game offers way more choices that change the flow of the story NTR is avoidable and balanced .If you had a bad experience with the previous game i recommend trying the new version the creator has done a pretty good job in this one .

Unfortunately, this game has bigger smoke than flame so far ..and compared that it's already a remake, it became quite faint. I'm not saying there's a problem with the basic story, but so far it’s almost exactly the same as the previous game started.
You have a beautiful girlfriend, Claire, who starts going to the gym with Olivia while the MC is usually asleep until two in the afternoon. You also have a roommate, Jenni, who you can peek at times while she change.

There are already a bit more actors in the game than in the previous one, but on the amount of content and the pace of the game, it is clearly visible that focusing on the love and the NTR route at once is already too much stress for the dev.
As an NTR fan, I can't really talk about the harem path, but so far neither about NTR, because it's not really exist in the game (yet). But in fact I wasn't really bothered coz of this, because there is nothing wrong with a story (even if it's NTR) what is building up slowly and gradually. The problem is more with the lack of creativity on the NTR line.
I'm not exaggerating if I'm saying that the previous game was much better then this second one in many ways until the arrival of the succubus (or rather until Claire's first real sex scene with Darryl). The story in the previous wasn't so lifelike everywhere, but it wasn't boring for a minute. And unlike the second.. on the first game you had that feeling yet, the dev worked on it without any pressure.

Overall, the second game so far is like it not being able to step out of the shadow of the old one. Ofc it's also starts on the same disappointing interracial way, where Clare meets the biggest black bull in the town, and then the chemistry starts working among them right away. But the difference in both games is that in the second one as I said earlier, we barely have real NTR content so far, and the story rather looks like the dev is just already rushing through the events, coz unlike in the first game, he doesn’t want to get stuck already on the details, which could maybe improve on the story.
While in the previous game we could experience those exciting NTR feelings like the cheating, jealousy, or just simply the risk of being caught in the shower with Darryl ..until then in the new game, Claire, almost from the nothing just suddenly brings up the topic as an idea, she should try some fun with other guys as well. And the MC's reaction was like.. yes Babe why not..
The game got to the point almost without any precedent... It’s like they’ve been in an open relationship since the beginning.. But if so, why does the game ask about the NTR content, if it's actually just a swinging one?!

But towards the end of the second chapter we still have a little netorase event, where Claire shows herself half naked to perfect strangers in the park.. but seriously... Cmon dev.. you are much more creative than this..
But even that one scene was ruined by the one sentence from Claire: "My boyfriend is watching us". This made the whole scene embarrassing.

Unfortunately the game was nowhere near as good as I expected, but it is still in the beginning, so it may improve. I really hope that the game will finds its way back to the path I loved so much in the first one.

Seems like an great NTR game, with actual consent from both parties. It looks great and plays well, but the story hasn't progresses much, so I can't give a verdict on the plot. Review of v2.0 Ch.2

A VN with very potential about a young couple who are together since highschool and is in player's hand the future of these relationship. With two chapters released so far, the story already make a good groundwork and build-up to open interesting and trilling paths for the two protagonist varing from pure monogamous love to sharing and others kinks like exhibitionism.

The writing is good with some few grammar mistakes, the pace and writing of lewd scenes is well-made with good dose of erotism. The renders and character models are beautifull, you can really fall in love for them. Especially for the female MC Claire and her sister Zoey.

Game also can be played in two distincts path: A NTR-enabled path and NTR-disabled path. So, if you like NTR/corruption, this game worth a try. And if you like romance/love, this game also worth a try.
