TLDR: Beautiful girls, outstanding bodies. But stupid and passive MC, blueballing, frustrating story pathing, poor and unnatural animations. Boring sex.

    Positives:
    • Beautiful girls with truly sexy tight bodies, thin waist, round and firm butts, perky round breasts! No fat, no saggy bodies.
    • Gets to sex scenes relatively fast, usually without too much blueballing (but some frustrating exceptions).
    • Anal. 2 scenes. (Why only 2?)
    • Renders improve substantially after a while, becomes very good.
    • A few scenes with seemingly rough sex (but not reflected in the renders/animations). Good dirty talk. Degrading, treating the girls like sluts and being vocal about it. They love it.
    • Deepthroating, rough, makeup running, swallowing. But only 2-3 scenes.
    • Minigames are skippable.
    • Cum is rendered well. And good (but very short) cumshots with emphasis on swallowing.
    • Sex in public places.
    • Girls licking/swallowing MC's cum off other girl.
    • Somewhat unique setting/story with the rock band thing, although this doesn't play a huge role in the game tbh.
    • Sometimes you get a small degree of interactivity in sex scenes, such as choosing where to finish.
    Negatives:
    • MC is stupid. E.g. girl invites MC over for sex and when she starts getting undressed MC just says "uhm, what are you doing?" And a girl is riding his dick, about to cum, and shouts "say my name". In this hot moment instead of saying her name, MC just responds "why?". Naked girl gets on her knees in front of MC's dick, MC just says "Uh, what are you doing?". Very stupid.
    • MC looks stupid. And his head looks too large for his body. Short, a bit skinny. Strange face. Most of the girls are bigger than him. And every other male characters look better. At least MC is well toned.
    • Animations are very basic, far too slow, look unnatural and have clipping/looping problems. Towards the end of the game they get better.
    • Blueballing. Exactly when MC is about to insert his dick in the girl, she gets a message and needs to leave. Stuff like this happens several times and is extremely stupid. Lazy writing.
    • MC is passive, girls usually initiate and take the lead, tell him what to do. They even have to ask him directly "do you like what you see?" when they undress and MC is just standing silently there fully clothed like an idiot.
    • In almost every scene the girl is on top and in control.
    • Have to watch other guys fuck girls. Without the involvement of MC. Several times.
    • Frustrating story paths where most of the girls break up with you since they discover you've been dating others. I prefer the _option_ to pursue all the girls. Don't overcomplicate things for "replayability".
    • Significant language issues. Often incorrect words used, in a distracting and unnatural manner. Some sentence structure issues.
    • Vanilla and weak sex. MC just slowly and half-heartedly fucks the girl and only pussy.
    • Dialogue always calls MC's dick "him", "little friend", "your little guy" etc. Constantly acting is if MC's dick is a person. Strange and distracting.
    • MC often reacts slowly and hesitantly when girls want to fuck. He just stands there fully dressed looking at them, inner monologuing, talking bullshit. Weird and unnatural situations. It's always the girl that has to say things like "well, what are you waiting for? Undress/touch me/fuck me".
    • Even after getting undressed MC is still to slow and hesitant, "are you really ready? You sure?". Just take control and fuck the girl properly, damn it.
    • Too often exclusive paths that make you choose either girl A, B, or C. So you'll have to replay a lot, which I don't enjoy. Instead I highly recommend Lain's mod to see most of the scenes in one playthrough.
    • The game makes you choose either girl A or B and you have to watch another guy kiss and grope the girl you didn't choose. This is a turn-off.
    • "Choices" that are exactly one option. That's not really a choice so why bother?
    • Save naming isn't optional so you have extra clicks every time you save. (slightly annoying)
    • Can't fuck the sister. She's super hot, shows off sexy outfits for MC, asks MC to look at her, etc. But no sex.
    • No options for important decisions such as letting the ex-girlfriend arrive uninvited and stay at MC's place. That's obviously a terrible idea but MC is an idiot and we don't get a choice. She then sexually assaults MC in his sleep.
    • The story doesn't flow well and the relationships with the girls feel unnatural. Several times you have an intense couple of days with a girl, sex, etc. then don't interact with her at all for a long time.
    • Hairy pussies on most of the girls.
    • MC's dick looks weird in the first part of the game. Like it's big but always soft at the same time, and no veins. The dev replaces the dick after a while so after that it's fine.

(I played like 99% of all scenes by using Lain's mod.)

Amazing game... Some of the best girls, renders, and sex scenes I've ever seen.

    Pros:
+ The game length is just right. Just when you think it's getting a bit stale, depsite the drama, it ends on a high note with a decent wrap-up. It was a sweet, medium-length journey with some welcome ups and downs. One of the best games ever to balance slice of life, drama, and sex.
+ It also has one of the best supporting casts I've ever seen. Every character's lives and dynamics with each other feel really genuine and fully realized. You can feel that they have lives of their own, and not just a silly part of MC's lives.
+ An actual throuple. This was such a highlight, and was probably the hottest part of the game
+ Consequences. I was really taken aback since I'm really used to harem routes and games that magically allow you to be in a relationship with 20 girls with no consequences, so I fucked up my own gameplay with trying a harem route and failing. Still, it was nice to see that my actions had consequences that weren't smoothed over in 5 minutes.

    Cons:
    - The story really pulls a How I Met Your Mother on you and forces you to reunite with your girlfriend in the finale. I thought the whole thing was setting up Lisa and Jade as an OTP throuple but right before the finale, the MC just goes back to his ex after hooking up with her a few times. While the story does a good job at them mending their problems and smoothing things over, I really found it weird that it's a locked option. Usually, the game gives you a choice at every relationship and casual hook-up, but this felt like a rushed decision that had no real consequences. Even if you end up with Lisa/Jade throuple, they are seemingly okay with you going back to your ex all of a sudden.
    - The everchanging renders. I lost track of how many times MC's dick changed shapes in the first few scenes, and it felt like the same goes for a few girls. It's glaringly inconsistent.

Overall I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. Rosa, Nicole, Catherine, and one-off hook-ups were some of the hottest LIs I've seen. Great work.

It is very rare to find such a perfect game, almost the best in all areas. I have just finished the game and I am still impressed by it. With its story, narration, development of events, the girls are the best (but I would choose Julia), graphics and more. That is why I give it 5 stars.
P.S. The only thing I missed was the development of events in relation to Julia.

Nice renders, solid story. Sometimes it's noticeable that English was not the main language, but that's fine. Though, it's a crime that a game about ROCK BAND has only 3–4 tracks for all situations. Come on dude, you have same calm track for sincere dialogues, parties and more scenes. Beside these points it's very nice, keep it up!

Simple but solid story. Very fun characters- Jacob is the best bro ever. And incredibly sexy ladies throughout the whole thing done in fantastic renders. I feel that one slight weakness is a couple of routes are a little counterintuitive to pursue fully (ie Completing everything with Rosa and Catherine requires you going half way through the Anna route) so the walkthrough can feel a bit necessary for those handful of times. But overall it's fairly straightforward to play through and enjoy as a solid VN.

I liked it, and like other AVNs, the renders and animations got better towards the end. The story dragged a bit, and the scenes were good. One thing that I hated was the gotcha kind the tale, yes not a harem game so you can only date 1 person at a time okay 2 in my case but then give options to get out of others, Thank god I had the WT + Cheats enabled so I was able to disable eery other path and only follow Lisa + Jade ones.

    Spider-Ham

I downloaded the game thinking it would be a virtual novel, in which the player would have some kind of control over the main character and his decisions, and what I found was a pure kinetic novel:

No matter what the player thinks of the girls we encounter, on every occasion the jerk protagonist has to add in his internal monologue how much he's attracted to them, the crazy things he'll do with them in bed, how eventually they'll all fall at his feet... What if it turns out I don't like one of them, what happens? Well, it simply doesn't matter, because at the first opportunity that arises, the protagonist has a sexual encounter with a stranger he's spying on from his window, with the player unable to do anything to prevent it. Incidentally, the girl in question mentions that she caught us watching her that morning, which is false, since I chose the option to stop watching.

So, after just five minutes of gameplay—five!—we have:

1- A cynical, arrogant, and unpleasant main character who constantly reminds us how beautiful all the love interests are and how he's going to fuck them all.

2- A bug that negates player choice and creates a plot inconsistency.

    3- A forced sex scene.

It's possible that from here the game will take a complete turn and be wonderful, but after such a disastrous start, I'm not in the mood to check it out.

My review on Become a Rock Star

    Story:

I like the concept of the story, a young man wanting to start fresh and create a group to be a star. After finished playing the story and explored multiple endings, I have to say the story was good to say the least, not top notch writing but still enjoyable. There are good moments I enjoyed but I also feel like there something missing, like a final piece of a puzzle to make it whole.

Here are the good elements I'd like to point out throughout the story. The characters are done well. I can't say to all the characters, but there are enough characters that keeps me intrigued and vested, like Jacob, Julia, Lisa, Jane, and Jade. I really enjoyed it whenever the MC is spending time with them.

The drawbacks of story in my opinion is the band's growth development.. While I do like their chemistry building and bond, their way to be a 'super' star was a bit underwhelming. In the story, the band had only performed twice. Two events, that's it! And next thing you know they got offered by a major record label. I wish there's more struggle with their journey, I'm sure it would make the story more compelling.

Another missed opportunity for me I'd like to highlight is the MC's siblings. Being the youngest out of all 5, I really wish they would tell more about them, what was it like growing up with them and why the MC hated most of them. I honestly would at least expect some bad blood between them but no. Even when all of them come together again after so long, they are all seems to be cool with one another without any context or explanation. Despite of all the reasons, I really glad there were moments of them being together.

    Characters:

Most characters look great, facial and body wise. Most girls aren't super busty like they have plastic surgery on it. The MC's face could have use some improvement. Both his bothers and even his father are handsome. Even on the ending, his face looks even worse. What kind of a glow up is that? Even other characters looks good years later.

I want to highlight the characters I believe it deserves. Mainly their characteristics.

Julia, the best sister anyone could hope for. A caring woman who always puts others before herself. She's the only sibling that respects and support MC's ambition. She even willing to be a wingwoman to MC for getting a girl.

The band, starting with Jacob. What more could you ask for? Good sense of humor, always supported the MC and have his back and his character development changed for the better. Lisa, sweet, caring, and genuine girl. Jade, quiet emo girl. She's genuinely good, she just needs someone to open up her door to the world.my only wish is to have an ending with her alone. It's just not possible unfortunately.

Jane, for me the best looking girl out of bunch. I enjoyed her romance the most.with the flashbacks of her and MC in their teenage years add so much depth to their chemistry.

    Sound and Music score:

I don't like to compare to another AVN but that thought always occur to me when I play this game since it is based on the same theme, music. Of course I'm talking about 'Melody'.

The background music is good, it fits with the vibe and scene most of the time. But whenever they play instruments, rehearsing, or performing, it's always that same damn soundtrack that keep playing over and over. It can get really repetitive. I wish they take Melody's music as an inspiration and make it their own. I know it's easier said than done but I think it would really take this game to new height.

    Verdict:

Overall, I do like Become a Rock Star. It has some memorable moments, wholesome moments, a little rollercoaster of emotions, and lovable characters. It also has some flaws here and there but it's nothing major and can easily be overlooked. and I still had good times playing the game.

Definitely one of the best products here on F95 and among my favorites. Long and well-structured story. Choices that matter and allow different routes. Good graphics and animations but that suffer from excessive development time. 5 years is a lot.

Become a Rock Star – A Journey of Music, Drama, and Missed Chances

I started this game with hope — for a heartfelt romance, strong characters, and a story that would pull me in. And at first, everything looked promising: the band Velvet World, the music theme, Lisa as the sweet and slightly chaotic lead singer, and the protagonist as the quiet bassist with a good heart… Everything seemed to be there. Almost.

The game tells an interesting story with ups and downs. There were emotional moments, dramatic developments — and yes, a few tears were definitely shed. Especially the hospital scene… that one hit hard. But despite everything that happened, I often felt like something was missing.

The relationship between Lisa and the protagonist felt too restrained most of the time. No casual affection, no cuddles, barely any public kisses — as if the romance had to stay hidden. I wished for more depth, more shared moments to make their bond truly come alive.

Another issue: a large part of the story seems to vanish if you commit to a monogamous route. I avoided every other “temptation” — on purpose — but doing so, I often felt like I had stepped off the main story path. Looking at the gallery, there are tons of scenes involving Jade and Emma, who played no role in my playthrough. Maybe there’s more to explore there… or maybe I was just too loyal.

    What I appreciated:

    • Nice atmosphere and music-centered theme
    • Some strong emotional scenes (especially involving Julia)
    • A few lovable characters, especially Lisa

    What I missed:

    • Deeper development of the main relationship
    • Everyday romance — small gestures, true closeness
    • A story that rewards monogamy instead of skipping large chunks

    Final thoughts:
Become a Rock Star was a pleasant experience with real potential. It felt like a song that starts strong, has a few beautiful lines — but misses the big chorus that stays with you. It was nice, but not unforgettable. A decent story for in-between, but not something I’ll keep in my heart forever.

Solid game, worth going through. Surprisingly one of a few games where replays actually offer variable experiences in some way. Offer well made decision timing as they are plentiful yet not disrupting. The minigame of playing the music in the beginning wasn't the best, yet it somehow felt missing from later rehearsals as implicating that the first one was either forgotten there or the general idea of failing as a musician was got rid of.

Story is intriguing and well rounded, being very interesting in case of first playthrough. Still I found the individual concepts to be rushed. Both family drama situation and band progression felt like: Idon't feel like expanding on it anymore; which than unpleasantly makes the game pace too quick. Positive in this sense is that while replaying because of chosen character the dialogs and encounters actually differs in nice way so you feel ensured within your choice somewhat.

The characters are skatchy to rate. Found Lisa, Anna and Selene intriguing and was happy to go through their individual playthroughs, sadly Jade a as a character felt rly plain, as even if you go the within the band option she felt somewhat disconnected and unable to relate to. The rest of the LIs felt somehow forced on and felt like filling for someone who just rly wish to go through it all.

Goes beyond the traditional adult visual novel with well-crafted animations, a versatile cast of excellent love interests, and an interesting, if simplistic story.
There's no harem ending (but you can be in a 3-way with two bandmates) and if you try to have too many incompaitble routes on the go at once the game will unexpectedly cancel most of them at a certain story point. The cheat mod lets you cheat on and off of routes and gives a recommendation of when to flag routes off/on to enjoy the game to the fullest.
    My biggest gripes are:
    1. The story, particularly in the early stages, feels rushed. Like the developer wants the romance events spread across weeks if not months but the actual plot events take place across a few days, making it feel like things are going a bit odd.
    2. After you end up on a route the game story does the annoying thing of being practically identical excep for minor scene differences, which makes it tedious to replay the game to get new routes.

On the whole though it's definitely well worth a play if you like romantic VN's with personality.

The dialog was a bit too cringe in my opinion... No one irl actually talks like that :'(
Also I have played Melody and couldn't help but compare the story progression here against Melody, and this did feel a more rushed and convenient. The LIs are super hot tho, in both models and characterization, so that's a plus. Also many great BGMs and I appreciate that it isn't a harem with everyone hopping on MC's dick by the end

    - About Story, I think the main concept is a good one actually, a guy trying to become a Rockstar and every problem that comes with it. Sadly it felt rushed, I mean... two freaking gigs and these dudes are already hired by a major label??, yeah... right. Also everything that is lewd-related (hotness) is average at best, Sex scenes here are painfully vanilla for my taste, I'd say 90% of them are just "Foreplay/Blowjob/Vaginal Pen/Done" with boring dialogs.

    - Characters: MC is just too fking corny... why the hell it seems that he's always falling for a girl after having sex with her??....About the girls (LIs), Sorry but I've never seen an AVN that has these many uninteresting main LIs. Lisa: Boring, Jade: Boring Emo, Selina: She started great but came up with some stupid story and asked for a serious relationship out of nowhere(I was like WTF??). Jane: too dominant, the only reasonable choice for me was Anna (luckily she was great), as for the rest (your ex, 2 milfs and Nicole) I didn't care much about them and I think they're not main LI anyway. And I don't know what the hell is your sister doing on the cover when you can't do anything with her xD (she would've been great though)

-Renders / Animations: Both are great.

    - Music: Nice tunes.

    - Others: I was expecting something more intense, kinky and why not? with some fetishes, you know... being like actual rockstars. Anyway, I think this is more of a Romance AVN than anything else.

Overall I think this game is a 7/10, story is not that bad and the visuals are great.

Story was solid and intriguing, but the pacing felt rushed in parts and some characters were glossed over or underdeveloped if they weren't the main love interest. Originality is appreciated with not many coming of age, musician stories expressing this quality. Renders are very solid, a cut above the other asset flips most uploads here are. 4/5

Hot girls, rushed ending, uninteresting plot. Dialogue doesn't have problems at least, a lot of games have really bad writing but this isn't one of them. The characters are likable and interesting, but the plot itself is rushed and starts good but ends flat.

Overall a good, replayable game but nothing to write home about.

OMG i love this game. i played it couple of years ago and i still have it on my computer.
i wish rating system was different so i could give this a 90/100.
i try to give a thorough review.
STORY : Story has 2 Aspects. 1st our mc's story and 2nd which ever girl you choose.MC is trying to make it as a musician and along the way has a romantic relationship with the girl (or girls ) you choose. so choices matter and i recommend to use a whalkthrough so you know what you are doing ( and not to waste your time with restarting ) with the fate of the story and who he ends up with.
story has a good logic to it ( real life logic not porn logic ). conversations are realistic . it doesn't drag on for ever to get to the next story plot or next scene. somewhere in between .
    Spoiler alert >>>>>

Girls: The all are really hot and based on your preferences you can choose a favorite. they have different personalities and different backstories. and its not like every one of them wants to fuck you the moment she sees you . i mean you can choose that route but even this rout is told in a believable way.
Graphics: as you can see in the screenshots they are great and sex scene are really hot. of course not all of them but most are hot.

Negatives: i wish Jade had a separate ( alone ) route she is one the best LIs in the game.
first scene of the game is unavoidable but after that you can go through the entire game without having sex.
i wish Nicole had an ending too she was awesome ( and an amazing sex scenes ) and my 2nd favorite girl after Jade.
Game is too vanilla which was right up my alley and doesn't have too many different crazy kinks.
Positives: Game has a gallery which i believe is very important. your choices shape the MC's personality and the fate of the story.
i love LOVE the fact that MC has 2 hot sisters and you don't even get single scene with them.in AVNs you either have a sister wich means incest or you don't have any siblings. it shows dev avoids AVN's most cliche topic which is incest.

Some really nice character designs, good animations. would have preferred more time with some other characters. The story is really not that great imo, that is the weak link of this game, also I have actually done all the runs, but sadly felt like it was not worth it, specially where some scenes were just exact same thing happening with same dialogue just different skin on characters.
By no means it is a bad game, and it starts pretty well, but I think the writing got sort of weak as the story progressed and at latter chapters it felt like lack of effort on story/writing.

    Become a Rockstar 1.01

    Pros:

+The renders are fantastic and the girls are beautiful.

+Lots of attention paid to facial expressions and body posture which elevate the visual storytelling quite a bit and add life to the game.

+All the LIs are attractive and portrayed in a manner that makes it clear the dev knows how to make things sexy. They're not terribly deep characters but each is still alluring in different ways and they have fairly different personalities. There's also just enough diversity in looks and body type to make characters distinct without going overboard in any direction with proportions.

+While the LI paths can play out in a bit of a formulaic manner at times, there are enough differences that most people should be able to find at least one if not multiple routes that they can really enjoy plus plenty of great side-girl options.

+Just enough to get invested in with the LIs while staying pretty easygoing most of the time and not getting bogged down in much drama or anything that would bring the mood down for too long

+Lewd content is pretty generally pretty hot while not straying straying terribly far from fairly vanilla stuff most of the time (for AVN standards at least).

+Good variety of glorious facials and body paintings in addition to having visually satisfying results when finishing inside. Only nitpick are some of the same exact patterns are used a bit too often for some of the facials (they seem to be pretty commonly used assets in other games as well).

+Outfits pretty much all fit well with fabric that hangs in a believable enough way (I hate that I have to make this a positive since it should be the standard but there's still a lot of games being made with too many outfits that stick to the curves of the models in ridiculously unnatural ways) and attire is generally well suited to the character/situation

+Depth of field effects are used incredibly well in the renders with just the right depth, focal points, and subtlety. Again, I hate that this is not the norm but a lot of AVNs that attempt this ruin their renders by slapping on a super shallow depth of field that just turns everything into a blurry mess.

+Game is complete and decently sized in terms of length/content.

    Neutral:

=Animations are a mixed bag. The first couple are an absolute train wreck. Following that there's a leap forward in quality and for a while short looping animations are used. These are hit or miss in terms of quality, lighting/color, and impact varying not only scene to scene but animation to animation within the same scene. Some animations will have good jiggling/bouncing and movement that is satisfying while others seem much more unnatural, static, lifeless, or occasionally robotic. In general, as the game progresses the animations do get better (as well as get a tad longer and more detailed/complex) but at a certain point they start to go overboard with unnecessary camera movements, occasionally too many extra angles, and animating things that didn't need to be animated. By the time you get near the end of the game the animations have improved quite a bit but still maintain the same problem with inconsistency in overall quality and impact from animation to animation so that they're really hit or miss throughout the game despite the improvements. Lighting and color of anims compared to the renders can also be an issue until near the end but generally isn't super-noticeable outside of the earlier parts of the game. I think, despite the issues, the animations were generally effective enough on the whole but everyone has their own standards on animation and for me these were not quite consistently impressive enough to count as a positive.

=There are two non-optional sex scenes early in the game. It didn't bother me as they felt in character for the MC at that point but some people may take issue with it on principal alone.

=Sounds are there for some things, but I had mine turned down pretty low to avoid being jump-scared by things like the doorbell. Nothing too special with the sounds.

    Cons:

-Music was extremely disappointing for a game with a band as core of the story. The music is incredibly boring and repetitive.

-I personally didn't care that much for the MC for a good portion of the game (he does become more tolerable as things progress). He's not only an ungrateful self-righteous hot-headed horny brat and a bit of an a-hole for a good portion of the game, but he also lacks any kind of charm or anything to make him interesting outside of his blind ambition and poorly executed love of playing music. The horny part is the one thing that they actually got pretty right for his age - so that bit isn't a complaint. He also ends up getting and taking credit for things he really didn't do anything to achieve (he's the most useless member of the band that his friend does almost all the work for) and things that are clearly his fault are almost never recognized as such. The characters around him make the situation worse by enabling his behavior. Example below includes spoilers for Emma:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

-Routes and reaching certain events can be anywhere from tad confusing and to just completely unintuitive. What constitutes getting together or breaking up isn't even really clear most of the time. Even the author seemed to get confused as there are continuity issues where the MC or another character will mention something they didn't do or didn't even have knowledge of in the current playthrough (which seems really confusing until you've played the path/part it's referencing). There are a lot of continuity issues in general between visual issues and dialogue/path issues but most are minor enough to not mind aside from a few exceptions. Anyway, regarding the routes, technically you can be with all the LIs (though some events may be missed) but things will eventually go south at a certain point. Each LI has a point of no return (none of which are at all clear without referencing a guide or the code) at which time it's your last chance to commit to that character or get out of the relationship before things go sideways if you're seeing multiple LIs (you want to try to commit to one and break things off with the others before this happens). Most of these big decisions start a little over half way through the game with the exception of Lisa/Jade. Lisa's path (and by extension Jade's) is the only one you need to commit to very early and then don't have any chances to get out of before judgement day comes which kinda sucks. Even some of the side girls you need to kinda plan for as they're mostly all fair game without interfering with the main LI relations but you still need to know the right steps to open up options with them and sometimes have to choose between. The best bet is to use the walkthrough and work backwards from what you want to the steps needed to get there to figure out the key save spots and decisions. You can also just use the WT/cheat mod or console commands but still need to understand what to do and when.

-As much as I liked the characters, they're mostly a bit on the shallow side in terms of characterization and progression. The LIs each have unique enough personalities, ambitions, living situations, and sexual tendencies to do a good enough job making them all seem pretty different from each other but, like other parts of the game, it still falls short if you're looking for any real depth. Aside from one story from Jade, what we know about their personal histories even in flashbacks only goes back approximately as far as MC has known the character (and the flashbacks themselves I almost always found myself disappointed by). A bit of laziness with the path writing also makes matters worse in this department as well. While they each have plenty of their own unique content in each route, various scenes always play out nearly exactly the same no matter which LI you're with down to the same setting, poses, and copy-pasted dialogue for each LI. If you've played multiple routes you've heard the different LIs do/say the exact same things in those sequences in a way that's very distracting and diminishes what uniqueness they do have.

-Writing - It's not great. I'd call the style utilitarian if I'm being generous. It's generally simple and gets the point across (though there are frequent superfluous little additions that often add nothing of value). What I assume are translations (or english from those whose first language isn't english) can end up leaving some wonky lines particularly early on. Dialogue and narration are usually some combination of very ambiguous and/or incredibly uninteresting with lots of "you sat there talking about everything in the world" type narrated lines in place of actual dialogue. When there are larger amounts of dialogue it made me regret wishing for that due to how poorly it's often written and how little of substance is actually said. There's also a ton of redundant or unnecessary lines in both the dialogue and narration which detract from the flow. Pacing tends to be a bit all over the place. There's a severe lack of dramatic tension with all issues being undercut by quick and easy resolutions. The whole story about the band and breaking away from the family seems like nothing more than just a poorly executed backdrop for the relationships to happen. The LI routes really do the heavy lifting for the game. Note that while the writing was certainly lacking, it didn't infuriate or irritate me (at least only rarely), which I wish I could say about lot of the more story-driven (which this game doesn't pretend to be) games in the genre as well as some others I've tried lately. The one positive thing I should mention is that the setups for a lot of events are actually well executed so when lewd scenes happen it's generally not without a nice sexy buildup. Within the lewd scenes themselves the writing can vary from route to route and scene to scene with a tendency towards a bit too minimal but it did make certain scenes much hotter when it was being used for more than spelling out silly moaning sounds and spouting super generic lines. See extended notes on writing below.

-One of the hottest girls (and likely best girl overall) in the game is unfortunately the MC's sister (Julia) who's not an option (it's not that kinda game). Too many gorgeous girls is a good problem to have in terms of constant eye candy I guess but in this kind of game you ideally want the beauty of the LIs to shine and not have the player wishing there was lewd content for other random characters instead. To this point, Erica is also a shame (nobody from Naked Park gets naked) and there were also a few other very attractive girls that are introduced and may even seem to be progressing somewhere and then just disappear (the two from one of the first days working at the bar come to mind). Some of the side-girls I also found even more appealing than a couple of the LIs. Yes, this whole part isn't a real gripe (aside from the Julia part maybe ;P) but just something I found a bit distracting at times.

    Conclusion:

I absolutely loved playing this game despite its flaws. The writing issues and lackluster execution of the story weren't nearly enough to stop me from thoroughly enjoying the LIs and sidegirls that make this romp one worth doing multiple routes from. Characters may be a bit on the shallow side but each have their own unique charm and are either quite likeable or somewhat nuanced enough when you're not meant to like them (a few even have what might be considered very simplistic arcs - sadly the MC isn't really one of them). Figuring out the unintuitive routes/choices and how to proceed through them for each route is a bit of an enjoyable game in and of itself at times (even using a walkthrough). This is one of the rare games with multiple endings that I was interested enough in all the LIs to finish all the routes/endings for. It's also one of the few games where I found that the render quality and attention to visual detail could make up for other shortcomings as I find a lot of games lauded for their renders and attractive characters are often prone to having other issues too large for me to get past. For anyone that just wants a pretty basic story chock full of good times with plenty of very attractive females beautifully rendered, I highly recommend giving this a spin.

Rating: I'd like to rate this somewhere between a 4 and a 5 due to the issues (mostly with the writing/main story) but after trying a lot of other games recently they've made me appreciate just how much better this gem does so many things compared to most of the ones I'd normally give a 4. While it does have some pretty large flaws and is far from perfect I still feel like this one deserves to be rounded up to 5 rather than down to 4 as it really is a cut above.
