The latest Patreon update (December 6th) said that the public release would be on January 3rd but in the discord the dev announced that due to a few delays the eta for everyone changed and that it'll be there when it's ready.

That's right, unfortunately with big life changes there has been some delays on production, but work is still being put in albeit at a slower pace than usual. The coming update will fix the main bug everyone encountered in the public version and will also introduce the entirety of Spring Break, which will have a huge impact on the overall story moving forward.

Issue with the quarter final? Also I'm stuck on Eva right now at I think 41, everyone else is much higher. I'm assuming because debate club is stuck.
Also any pros to only focusing on one route?

Unfortunately, I have some bad news. Health is a bitch, and with it, it brings unforeseen delays that truly impact development pace. Beyond the lost week for bugfixes on the previous update, week for government procedures, and week for organizing my move, last week was lost on medical issues that saw me out of commission at a time I was hoping to be as productive as possible ahead of the holidays. As most know, I leave the country at the end of the month. As such, I was hoping to get work done this past week and all the way till Friday to work on the update that comes. This has not been possible, as today was the first day in which I was able to sit and work in a long time, but will also unfortunately be one of the few days in which I can sit and work for a long time to come. Saying goodbye to the many friends and family members I have, in addition to a festive season where a lot of people come back to celebrate with friends they see only once per year, and preparing for the move (I have to fit my entire life in a single 30KGs bag), means that the time I can invest in the game is considerably slashed. That doesn't mean I will not be doing my best to work on the update, but it being the size that it is (24k words and counting), means it needs time to be done. (every time slot in the spring break is as big as a friendship milestone, except with every choice being based on past decisions, there are much more variations than any existing scene) To keep my sanity, the coming update will come when it comes, but there is no ETA for it. I'll work at my pace, and I'll include what I need in order to give a complete, full experience."
(If I got a nickel every time I repost a porn game dev's announcement that they won't be updating their game by the end of 2024 from Discord to F95 I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's kinda weird it happened twice(and very sad that it happened to 2 of my favorite games))

To be honest, considering the track record on display, I'm not doubting the dev one bit.
Can't wait for the update. Fingers crossed things go smoothly, health and otherwise.
