The art is fantastic as others have said but the model to sprite pipeline could still use some work. Red's scene compared to shockkitty's is less fluid and appealing. It reminds me of one of those old 3D DS games.

Yup, those sprites and animations need work,
I've posed some extra/missing scenes in Blender for spots where it was just showing the empty apartment,
but none of the sprites from Chapter 2 part 1 have been polished in Photoshop just yet,
I'll be working on that during the following few months.
I polished Shockitty's missionary scenes by brute-forcing it, which ended up taking a while,
I've hence prepared a bunch of new techniques, plugins and etc to speed up the whole process,
we'll see how that pans out soon enough.

I recognise artstyle from thumbnail. It's totally the same artist, that made Ninetails blowjob animation, Sha the sheep animation and also Umbreon+trainer animation. DimWitDog.

No idea about any of that, but DimWitDog is very skilled,

I've appreciated the additional 2D cg in the p4nd4 ero-scene. I'm a traditionalist in this regard, i like 2D more than 3D animations, especially if the art is good as in this game. And maybe it's also less time-consuming? No idea, but the game could use more ero-content, better if 2D.

I'm glad you liked it!
It's hard to say for sure, the sprites take a while to set-up, but once the ball gets rolling it's faster to make those
than 2D illustrations.
With what we're planning for the future there could be more scenario's where we could reuse some of the sprites as well,
which increases their value in a developer context.

Maybe your view might change after those rough 3D renders get polished, we'll see.
I think we'll keep doing a mix of them, keep voicing your opinions and depending on the reactions we'll adjust accordingly.

The big thing we want to achieve at some point is to make the apartment interactable and let you partake in whatever activities you want with the bedabots you've collected,
The more sprites/animations we have the closer that'll be in-reach.

Red's scene is still a work in progress. The spritework in it is placeholder, it lacks audio effects (I have over 150 separate soundbites ready to implement), and it does not yet have any pop-up box dialogue. Either the next update, or the one after that, will correct this.

Depends on how fast of a reader you are, and how much you stop to ogle the artwork.

While a return to the farm may be in the cards at some point, Kone Junior is too tough to let the city chew him up and spit him back out. Bedabots is a story about how robots and humans, working together, can overcome even the toughest of challenges.
