Honestly - and I might get some fucking slack for this, probably deserved - but better to release a half-baked, but still functional, product on time and keep your promises (and redact in post) then pull this kinda stuff. This is a fucking porn game where most people just go over "the plot" as quickly as possible to get to the banging sections, like, it ain't fucking AAA or rocket science. Alternatively, he could've started with just the art, then the fighting sections, then other shit - no need to start from scratch in a single sitting, my man.

the dev said in one of the teasers that he has limited coding skill end now we wait a game that has combat sistem and different kind of gameplays. I'm curious and I don't mind waiting if worth it but IMO redone the game in one single update it's too much. I wanna be positive and believe in unruly because the game's setting is good and I'm looking forward to see more
Nah, that's fair. I have some experience with coding, though amateur hour, and modding (if only from the fanboy side of things) so I know how difficult these things are - which is why I'm also not really being angry at Unruly for pulling a stunt like this. It is just that he can then be honest and not promise a May release date only for him to (most likely) miss it as well and postpone it to the summer. And yes, beyond that, he clearly has bitten off more than he can chew with the fighting sections and whatnot.
If he had done it piecemeal - with first the art and the dialogues, then the fighting, then new plot and so-on - he could've probably had a update in April, then one in June and continued from there. Now there is a fair chance of him just finally deciding to skim on some of the promised content to release a game one month late anyways.

Obviously, all this reworks are pretty damn exhausted and took more times to do this properly without any f#ck ups, so guess we just have to wait, let's hope it'll be release someday in May.

I personally feel like that’s a lot to lock behind Tier 2, but that’s just my opinion.

My pessimistic take is that, based on the previews that we've seen, the outfit system and the Captain Marvel storyline are done but the rest is all in varying stages of development and as a whole it's not really playable.
I also like to keep the girls naked most of the time. I just felt like I hadn’t contributed to the thread in a while since someone had been getting the Discord updates while I was away, so I decided to toss my opinion out there.

"So I'm gonna have the update split up so I can get feedback on all the extra systems and progression stuff. But dropping this first part of the update in like two weeks makes sense to me. That being said, I've been really busy with my job recently so I'll probably have a more solid release date around this time next week."
"It really was a pretty tumultuous time for me with health issues with my family and all these work responsibilities coinciding with this update in the worst way but right now I'm working at a pace that I'm pretty confident in and I really want to get this update out for you guys."

Splitting it up is the right call, it seemed clear from the whole release date kerfuffle that trying to remake every system at once was too big of a bite to chew on, and that's how these projects usually peter out and die. If we get the full Captain Marvel progression storyline and some revamped art for the early game girls I'd say that's a successful update and a good foundation to start adding onto.
