A: Frankly, I really don't know. I have absolutely not experience in this, so it's very hard for me to estimate anything. However, I do promise you two things: First: I'll keep you posted on it's progress, and secondly: I'll finish it.

Q: So you won't be "Gumdropping" us?
A: No, I might be overworked, but I'm not a blue-balling monster.

Q: What changes are you applying to the game:
A: I have not only changed most of it's content to make the characters more likable and sympathetic towards each other, but also added much more mother-son related dialogue and character development. Sex with Jessica will be consensual, your won't be the Baron's cuck in the Harkonnen ending, Harah will miss her sons so much, that... but wait, I guess I shouldn't spoil everything right away!

Q: You dirty bastard! But how did you add so "much more" dialogue?
A: I've introduced new variables, like conversation-counters and randomized dialogues. One of the effects is for example, that Jessica's boob-jobs now come with a dialogue progression: When repeating you won't always get the same dialogue all over again, but have 10 different dialogues, beginning with her just helping you out, and ending with her being upset with you for ruining her dress. After getting sufficiently "showered" the other characters will also react to her somewhat soiled appearance. This lends much more depth to the story progression and the characters imho.

Q: So what's your favorite soft-drink?
A: I'm glad you asked, but I'm not so much into soft-drinks. I do however love fruit juices made of cherry, peach or pear.

Q: How interesting! But will we also get new choices and different story developments?
A: Yes, particularly with Jessica and Harah.

Q: There have been rumors about some prego-content. Is there any truth to that?
A: I thought that "pergo" meant "impregnating" someone, so I falsely confirmed that rumor. Now I've learned that it actually refers to having sex with pregnant women, so no, no explicit sex with pregnant women. Sorry for the confusion.

Q: Will there be any additional art?
A: So far not, but I've tried to commission a few new images a month ago at

. But alas, David Goujard didn't respond to my request. If anybody knows how to reliably contact him, then I'd be happy to do so.

Q: How are you doing with your de- and recompilation problems?
A: I reduced the amount of trash code by doing my changes and backups with an external text editor (notepad++). This slows down testing considerably, and doesn't solve ALL problems, but it helps, and the final code will have been de- and recompiled only once, and not for hundreds of times.

Q: I'd love to make changes myself! Any tips on how to do that?
A: Sure! Here is how you do it in Windows 7 64bit. This should work with most other flash games aswell. (all following downloads are free):
-) First download the SWF-Version of the game from the front page
-) Then download "Free Flash Decompiler" (FFDec) from "JPEXS"
You must be registered to see the links

-) Open the swf-file with FFDec, and browse the tree structure towards "scripts\DuneV2-fla\talker_277" and "scripts\DuneV2-fla\_movies_538" (these numbers may vary between versions). There you will find about 90% of all the dialogues.
-) Edit, save and enjoy!
-) If you can not playback the SWF-file, then install "Adobe Flash Player Projector". Get it from

Holy Shoot!

I downloaded FFDec and peeked inside of ver 2.18 swf file.

It's crazy complicated.

I don't think I can find what I want in there ever lol.

Yeah, welcome to the world of programming... the trick is to use the search-function for known snippets of dialogue. They are all coded in plain text. And don't feel bad for starting small. We all do... ;)

and realy to bad it wont have preggo sex but atleast will have mom mc son ending and impregnation sex ? no idea who harah is havent played the game that far

Hi!

You don't really need to convert SWF-files. It's like playing a mp3-file... you just need a proper player app to do so. Now Flash is considered to be obsolete since Android 4.1, but I'm sure there still are some apps out there that can play SWF-files.

1.) Search the google app-store for SWF-players or flash players or
2.) Some browsers might also just do the trick: Boat browser, Photon browser or Flashfox might work, if they are still around.

You should eventually be able to find something that works, but beware of spy- and adware. Please tell us when you have found something reliable.

Sad that this game is way too short, even if David gonna expanding it, still a short flash game. With pro-artist and experience engine coders on Renpy/Unity/Etc ... this Dune theme could make into a sagacious porn games. I hope none of the shitty & opportunist developer using this theme tho ...

Key Ideas when expanding this game ...
- Spice produce currency to buy goods from the galaxy's market
- Buying items to expand site for multi purpose
- Building structure like Army, Economy & "Entertainment" facility
- Introducing rival house, no need to follow the canon
- War between the house clan, event some rebellious Arrakis clan who refuse to work for you
- Conquering one will get all the ladies of that house
- Make them concubine or put them to the "Entertaiment" harem house for yourself or "rent" it to the Arrakis.

Welp, since it looks like Crispyking's mod will take a while to be released, I made a little mod myself to help with the wait. Originally I was only going to do this for myself, but perhaps some of you might enjoy it as well, so I decided to post it here.
This mod changes most of the dialogues between Lady Jessica and Paul, turning their sexual encounters consensual and their relationship more romantic. It also adds a repeteable anal scene between them (a reskin of the anal scene of Jessica with Duncan's or Leto's gholas) and alters the flavor or the 4 endings to relfect the consensual and romantic nature of their relationship.

Keep in mind, however, that my programing skills are... mediocre, if I'm being generous, so I had to make some sacrifices in order to make this mod, since I had no idea how to include the changes otherwise. Specifically, the following:
-Leto doesn't have sprites anymore, since it was the only way I came up with to modify Jessica's anal scene accordingly.
-Buying Leto's or Duncan's gholas is not recommended, since it causes infinite loops on the dialogues with Jessica.
-You can no longer trigger Irulan's sex scene with the fremen guys in-game (Although you can still see it in the scenes menu)

Also, you shoud play the game in a specific order now for the dialogues between Jessica and Paul to make sense chronologically.
-First, talk to Jessica about the Reverend Mother as usual and trigger the titjob scene.
-After succeding in the Reverend Mother's test, ask to see Jessica's breasts a couple of times, triggering the titjob scene both times.
-Then play the game as normal until Paul gets his first vision of the future (Jessica's scene)
-Talk with Jessica about said vision.
-Then unlock the voice and use it on Jessica until you succed. Have sex with her at least one time.
-Play the game as normal afterwards (keep in mind that Leto doesn't have a sprite anymore, but you can still interact with him if you click on him on the throne room in the palace. You will need to do this to progress once you pick a fremen concubine)
-After the bad guys attack the palace and you flee with Stilgar and Jessica, talk to Stilgar and pick a Fremen name. Talk with Jessica afterwards to trigger her pregnancy dialogue. Once said dialogue is triggered, you can have anal sex with her.
-Then you can play the game normally until the end.

And that's pretty much all I have to say. If you find other bugs than the ones listed above, feel free to tell me, and I'll try to fix them, if I'm able. Either way, I hope you guys have fun with my mod while we wait for Crispyking's one to be released!
