Flash - Completed - Behind the Dune [v2.36.2] [David Balsamique]

I remember playing this game back on my Amiga 500. Of course that version didn't have any titties in it.

A very simple and easy game to play which seems feature complete. Which in of itself is kinda rare, most games never get finished. Great atmosphere thanks to the ripped music.

Story is simple and follows similar beats as the original.

The art is great, though there is a lot of head swapping going on and repetitive scenes, but its nothing too bad.

Overall a very neat little game that is still getting updates from time to time.

A terrific (and easy) game that really showcases excellent graphics and animations. The ladies and the scenes are sexy, and I'm glad we get more of a chance to interact with Harah and Irulan than is the case in the books. Dialogue is witty and builds off of Dune without being overly wedded to it, which is surprising since the developer is French and not a native English speaker. A number of different paths that can be taken, but not unwieldy and all the scenes are available at the end of the game.

Slight criticisms: 1) Just one save slot when there should be at least four or five in order to explore all the paths; 2) some system slowdown during the animations over time (and my system is pretty good)

This game was good enough to get me reading Dune, really enjoying it so far. Looking forward to more of David's work!

Excellent game, playable to completion but the developer is still adding stuff.

Nice storyline, a little bit of management (nothing too distracting) and a whole lot of girls of all ages to choose from.

Excellent art, an appealing array of characters, and an enjoyably knowing tribute to the source material, to boot. The Fremen ladies are lovely additions to the expected cast of characters , and end up stealing the show.

one of my all time favorite H games, simple business management and harem acquiring plot. But still entertaining throughout with multi endings and great H scenes. for someone who wants to spend 6+ hours and not invest weeks

Gameplay: its kinda a management game but with crappy mechanics but i can see it being fun with work
it has some glaring problems though
length: this game is short. i beat it in an hour without really trying
no save function: you cannot make saves. the game remembers your progress but if somthing goes wrong you better start over
bugs: there are a few bugs that if you run into them you are unable to progress see above on why this is such a problem
engrish: a little bit of proofreading could really help with this
lack of dialog paths: (spoiler i guess?)their is a point where you literally rape your own mother and as she freaks out about what you just did then end dialog she replies with 'ok'. this lack of reaction to what you do is consistent with few exceptions
version: insexual awakening is in version .000027 or somthing and took me 3 days to finish and is stuffed to the brim with content this game is in version 2.73 i did it in an hour and has the above problems. if this game was in version .273 then this post would say "games looking great keep up the good work" but this game is apparently released+expansion+additional patches and is like this
if this was a regular game i would give it a 2/5 with the caveat that it has promise but since this is a porn game i upgrade it to 3/5 because damn are the girls hot. this game needs alot of work and i hope the maker gives it that

Smart gameplay. The art... that goes almost without saying, but of course I must say it... One of the best in the adult world! This is an homage to Dune the movie but in an adult and comical setting, using the film story elements where needed. Surprisingly low in size but full in game play. Lots of fun and lots of fapping as the art is amazing. I think every female is fappable--not extra fems for just story. Fap all fems!

Amazing loved it, its an example of what you can make with not match space, story is good, very erotic scenes, im loving every bid of it cannot wait to see more with Jessica and the Prince it will be amazing i hope the dev has a long story to tell so we can all enjoy much more of this game.

Because i fap on this game atleast 2 time in week, and damn this game is fu....ng wonderfull, i so hope David will make it AAA-rating game. Dune was one of my favorite universe for a long time, so that man who try to make it lewd is freakin genius.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v2.03...

I know the thread sais it's complete, but this is a newer version of the game, and it shows in game that it's still under construction... This is an adult/erotic parody of the movie Dune, done as a Flash game...

The visuals of this game are 2D hand drawn and look pretty decent, and same with the backdrops... There was one image that is just the basic drawing as a place holder, so it's not colored yet... The navigation map also is easy to figure out... There are some motion animations...

The script is spot on, even though there isn't much text, I didn't run into any spelling/grammar errors... The plot revolves around a male protagonist, and some of the same story elements of the movie play out in this game... But of course it pokes fun at most aspects of the movie with hilarious visuals, erotic scenes and dialogue choices, as well as crazy takes on the characters personalities... The current content ends after the protagonists father is killed during an attack, once the protagonist escapes...

Overall, this game shows some promise with some funny takes on the actual Dune franchise... There isn't huge amounts of dialogue, but what there is tries to show a mix of drama, erotica, and humor all mixed together... Will I revisit this one? Probably sometime down the line...

Damn it this game is good, the artist's style is very unique and he has a way of making the female characters look very sexy. The oversized tits are a huge bonus as well. All in all, a pretty good porn parody.
