Look, there's a reason why this has remained one of the most popular games available on this site. I remember seeing a similar review somewhere so let me paraphrase in my own words:

This is porn you can tell people that you watch/read for the plot and mean it. Sure, the girls are hot and the sex can be really fucking sexy, but the twists in the plot man. Fuck me, the sex scenes are a bonus at this point.

When i mean pretty good story consider the scene around though. If it didn't have unnecessary renpy game mechanics it would've been worth staying on the pc to replay but it doesnt deserve the rating it has dont get fooled

I've played a lot of games on this site. Most of them are one-dimensional games that people rate highly if they play into their specific kinks. Most are forgettable . A few are good for a single playthrough. This one is different.

What sets it apart is that it's designed for more than a single playthrough. Although there are multiple LIs the game is not designed to allow access to all of them on a single play. Pursuing certain ones will lock you out of others. In short there are actual consequences to your actions in the story.

It's more than the choices in most of these games where it's a + or - choice to have a relationship with this or that LI. Your choices shape the dialog and personality of the MC as well as the events of the story. At time of this writing there are 9 large chapters and an interlude and choices you can make early on are still yielding new and potentially dire consequences for the MC.

This game, although unfinished and likely not to finish anytime soon, has more content than a lot of finished pieces on this site. A single update is generally larger than some complete games. If you enjoy games with stories and consequences where the MC isn't just some Gary Stu or Mary Sue try this game. There's also plenty of lewds and the overall quality of the art is well above most other efforts you'll find here, especially in the later chapters.

Note: There are a ton of mini-games in this project as well. Most of them are fun. (mouse mazes are not nor never will be fun.) They are entirely optional and you can choose to turn them off.

TL;DR A good game with a good story and good art, a cut above most offerings on the site.

I played it a while ago... It's the most famous F95 game for a reason! Gripping story, unlike many games, the characters feel more realistic and college life is a lot of fun! There are also dramatic moments that add a lot to the story....
The girls, I love the girls, especially Jill. The romantic moments are better than the hot ones! And that's saying something... Also, the graphics have been kept fresh despite being an "old" game.

Definitely, this game is the way to go to get into erotic games.

First time playing BaDik. Amazing artwork and great story. I really took to Jade and Isabella. The only thing I really disliked were the Free Roams and the mini games. I found them to be unnecessary to the story but they do turn this from a VN to a proper game so I guess most players like that. I hate RPGM games and this felt like one, 'find x, talk to Y, run to Z....go back to X, go up Sage's house....etc. Killed the mood for me. Still this is definitely something I'll come back to if only for the unlocked gallery (thanks to the modder) and my 2 routes. Hopefully there's a Jade ending but I'm pretty sure it won't be a happy one.

The best game in the genre today without competition. Every game that comes out is compared to this game, is it worth investing time and money in it. Many branches of LI to go through an interesting plot and subplots for some characters are no less interesting. Anyone who likes the genre must play this game at some point.

This game has good music, close to good above average animations and graphics and thats it. Maybe not one star but absolutely not a five star game.
There is a more pussy than the LI's MC, even you choose DIK path and he is absolutely not the protagonist. His cherry popper blue haired gal is more important than our dear MC.
There is a lying, hypocrite and most importantly inescapable (because she is the strong female lead that we all need) LI (you cant get rid of her yey),
There is another LI like the previous one and if you want this one you have to get them with a package of two yey again,
There is a gullible lost lamb LI that have no idea why she is in college or even in this game (you can ditch this one because im sure she is not a feminist or any ist),
There is a brain dead with 4 balloons older LI,
And there is the holy grail LI that you cant touch (this game is ongoing for five fucking years) because she is the ultimate prize.
At first i thought this was an AVN but im not sure anymore because with these MC and FMC's its unplayable or unenjoyable, i think side characters are more interesting an thats a no no

Best Adult Game ............... Period!
If you havent played it, you havent played an adult game. I don't know where the creator is taking the game, but we sure are enjoying the ride. There are some decision points where you have to take some action you wouldnt want your MC to take (specially the Jill path) if you had the options. I hope in future DPC will take that into consideration. Still love the game.

So... what can I add?
If you are in f95, you already know what the deal is. This is a groundbreaking game, where one can hardly find anything to criticize. The level of quality in the graphics, dialogues, options, and so on, it is fantastic.
It has a great sense of humor, you'll definitely enjoy this a lot.

Been waiting for a while to get part 2, hopefully in the next few months.
Don't miss out on this! And even though not complete, it definitely has a lot of replay value on different type of runs.

A VN that is both sexy and genuinely funny and with a lot of interesting characters to care about, which is honestly quite an accomplishment.

I enjoyed almost every second of this VN and thanks to the great writing most of that enjoyment came from the content that wasn't straight-up porn. Not that the erotic scenes and renders aren't good, they are (especially in later chapters), but the rest of the content is just that good that it doesn't even need the porn to be fun and interesting.

There have been multiple times where this game made me laugh out loud, especially on a DIK route, and that's not something I can say of many other games. My only real criticism is how said DIK route seems to be a lot more fun than a CHICK route but that 4 out of the 5 main girls aren't all that compatible with DIK players.

It makes me wish that some of the other girls like Lily, Riona, and especially Quinn were upgraded to main girl status as well. But I realise that would just make updates take even longer and is probably just me being greedy. It does show how great even those side characters are though.

This is one of the best stories, let alone VNs, to ever exist. It is an intricately woven silk tapestry of a coming-of-age saga that reads a uniquely brilliant way every path you take. Bursting with humor, heart, heartbreak, and fully fleshed, dynamic characters coupled with amazing rendering that allows for a wide range of emotive and nuanced facial expressions, you will find yourself entirely engrossed in this tour de force. If you have the storage space to download it and the time to dive into it, it is worth every byte and every second.

the game is one of the best out here if not the best,renders story and pacing are exelent ,models are top notch,and the script is from one of those 80's coleege movies.
but the minimgames and those free roams cut all the inmersion you expect and sometimes you dont know what you must do next even if the task help you a little ,its happedns when you have a big cast and try to overrun possibilities.
so for the 5 star i easy get rid of those freeroamsand you get it

Best of all, story (I'm in American Pie), girl, animation, relationship (sexual, friendly, family) I really hope that we do all year at university that the game will not stop at the end of the first, all the characters are endearing, even the most detestable, because they all have their own personality, objective or desire and are just not there to make up the numbers

the game is mega super, only episode 6 was a little deprived of sexual games with girls, but again this was compensated by episode 7 and 8, where you will enjoy a lot of content and, above all, carefully choose options because every thing will affect the passage of the game, a very luxurious concept and processing of the graphics of the game

It's hard to fap when the game is such an emotional roller coaster, at least in episode 4. One of the best adult games ever. I started playing it a few years ago but stopped as Josy arrived because that was the last chapter at that time, and also because after the next update you had to restart from scratch due to a rework. But now I have started playing again on steam, because it is more convenient and I get to support the creator.

The story is simply beautiful. The characters are great. All of them are distinct and unique. All of the main girls are great which makes it hard to choose between them. The part with Josy and Maya was tough in episode 4. Alas the first time I had gone the DIK route in my first playthrough but I couldn't stand it so I had to start over. The game is truly heartwrenching. You have tears in your eyes at some parts and shortly after you burst out laughing. Derek is hilarious. Even if this game tugs at your heart string it is truly a feel good story if you make the right choices, most of the time. I don't know what geniuses dr pinkcake have working in his team but this game is a masterpiece. Even compared to conventional games. And I don't consider many convential games masterpieces.

First of all this game is a gem , i love this game so much , there are so many things to do , so many choices , girls are beautiful jizz , good work with the story to, its not just a typical sex game its a emotional bumpy bus ride . best of luck with the next projects <3

For the longest time, I saw this game at the top of the charts. Super popular and well rated. After playing through Season 1, I can now see why. So much content here, I played over 40 hours in season 1 alone so far.

The animations were kind of sparse and a little clunky, but overall impressive and a really nice touch. I felt they got progressively better and more numerous.

I liked the dialogue and branching routes between dik and chick. It felt like it genuinely explored the pros and cons of each path without seeming too biased or toxic. Each of the main girls feels respected with fleshed out backgrounds and personalities. I was bothered by the locked content however. It requires a second playthrough at minimum to unlock and see everything, which was an unpleasant chore.

The music selection seemed to be a lot of creative commons tracks from SoundCloud. Shout out to the dev for digging deep to find some hidden gems. They've really become the sound of this game.

I'm really looking forward to playing the following seasons.

I'm pretty late to rate BaDIK, this game set the standard of AVN for me, giving me the very first top quality AVN taste.

Throughout of my journey of playing games here, playing underrated AVN'S is just a past time for me but when I hit this gold mine, my perspective in AVN games changed, and since then I'm craving for more.

BaDIK is kinda know all of the angle of AVN but its not the best of it, like its really good but certain part of it.. its not. Some chapters got a sandbox playthru which annoyed lot of players, tho DPC which is the creator, is working hard to cater to all of us, which is pretty respectable.

Storywise, I like it, its not boring and the humour of some characters especially Derek is amusing to me. Main LI's is pretty interesting especially the Chick path side. While the DIK path LI's is nice too tho it's not my cup of tea but I like the story of DIK path and in my opinion it could be better if DPC add more intense fight against the rival frat. Nonetheless, its good, pretty engaging and hoping that DPC lessen the "click*click*click" events.

My final thoughts is yes I highly recommend this game, the developer DPC is responsible and hardworking dev, a rare type of breed of a dev, and well respected in the community.

This is me saying you won't regret playing this game.

4 stars, good game ruined by weird choices that are there just to frustrate the player. DIK and CHICK mechanics tells you the state of devs trying to add complexity just because.

Must cheat to enjoy the game fully.

I recommend playing the game.
