I think you are talking about branches active which should be 1 for you, which the same problem happened with me Even though i selected all branches in episode 8.

If you notice carefully there a thing written in every main li variable screen which is active branches which should be between 1 to 5 depend on how many branches you are on and on that basis you will be able to see the scenes of the branch you are according to the mod is coded.
I don't know if it is normal or just happened to me but my branch active was 1 even though i had all branches selected and there was no way to change the number through the scrappy mod, luckily because of urm i was able to find that this was coded in the mod and was able to change the branch active variable to 5.
But i am confused and wanted to ask scrappy or someone as to why i am not able to change the number through the mod or is it that the mod is not complete right now and for safety reasons he has not given the option to change the number until the mod is completed?
And Btw did this happen to everyone or is it just me?

Also doesn't work for me - crashes upon clicking "New game"

Using the compressed version, if that makes any difference (aren't crazy enough to waste 60gb on a VN). Installed according to the OP instruction (would've been difficult to fuck up that [extract into "game" folder] though).

Edit: crashes were caused by the "zzscripts.rpa" file; solved the issue by deleting it -> starting a new game and making a save -> restoring the file back and loading the saved game.

That mod guide is about Mac OS, while I'm using Windows. And maybe I'm blind or something, but all 3 links in OP contain the same "BaDIK_0.8.3__fix3_scrappyMod.zip" archive (with no separation on Seasons 1/2 versions; there's also android versions, but that's definitely not the ones I would need, for the aforementioned reason). And the funniest thing it that, after doing the stuff I described in my previous post, the game - Season 1 at least - has been working prefectly (including the in-game walkthrough). Which, I guess, means that it is the correct mod version after all?

I think Addy gave you that link so you check what is the contents inside game folder on your installation before and after install the mod, that is how it should "look". Nothing to do with Mac OS.

Just checked the OP links and it seems fine. Season 3 links show the v0.11.1 of the mod and season 1&2 the v0.8.3 of the mod like it should be. Not sure what you meant with "no separation on seasons 1/2" because v0.8.3 of the game and mod include season 1 and 2.

Season 1 is the first 4 episodes and season 2 the remain 4 and it is all in 1 installation of the game. Season 3 install probably only gonna fit 4 episodes since the game got much heavier hehe. Season 4 probably gonna be a separate install also in the future but that didn't happen in the first 2 seasons.

Ok, I'm genuinely dumb. For whatever reason I though that Season 1 and Season 2 of the game are two separate downloads, but after rechecking I realized that the second link was for compressed MAC version. Makes perfect sense now why there's only one mod.
