I have the same issue and have downloaded the latest version with the Season 3 mod. Dunno what's happeningeither you don't have the last version of the game (0.10.1) or you didn't download the right version of the mod (the one for the season 3) or you didn't unzip it in the right place
because scrappy's mod takes care of this "anti scrappy mod"
which take care of the problem you encounter because scrappy erased the problematic lines in the original file (that you shouldn't see) :360 jac "For sure, it's one scary fucking mansion."

359 jac "For sure, it's one scary fucking mansion."

361 jump wt_label
362 if not renpy.variant("pc"):
363 jump ep9_save_here_label
364 play music "music/ep9/licensed_music/track113.mp3"
That's Good advice. I may be in that boat come Friday until the mod is available on Patreon for Chapter 11update: ignore the above, found out the issue. if anyone like myself is doing a non-modded playthrough after using the mod in the past, make sure to swap persistent file that can be downloaded from the main thread in BOTH the appdata save folder and game save folder BEFORE importing ep8 save file.
That's EXCELLENT Code reading and I'm inclined to do my own searching via Notepad+ on Friday, we'll see. I'm considering using my vanilla save until the mod is out on PatreonBlaze1905 and LakeRiver in your "game" folder you should find a folder "scripts" in which you shoud find another named "episode9" in which you shoud find a file "update9.rpy" (the one from BaDIK_0.10.1_fix2_scrappyMod.zip)
...\BeingADIK-0.10.1-pc-lin\game\scripts\episode9\update9.rpy
(or ...\BeingADIK-0.10.0-pc-lin\game\scripts\episode9\update9.rpy if you didn't manually edit the name of the original folder of the game before or after updating it to 0.10.1)
if you open it with a text editor you will find in line 360 to 363:
which take care of the problem you encounter because scrappy erased the problematic lines in the original file (that you shouldn't see) :
(just to be sure you have the right files in the right places)
How do you expect Scrappy to have a mod ready and waiting for you on the same day the source game gets released? More so with an update as substantial as the BaDIK one?Does anyone know if scrappys mod will be available on scrappys patreon tonight? I broke my game and i cant play without it. I got no issue paying the patreon fee.
Well, I'm no expert on that either and I hope I didn't come across as condescending. What I know / don't know is this:Obviously i know absolutely nothing about mods or how they are made. Thanks for the answer anyway.
