When I say 'adventure,' I don't mean 'visual novel' like many (Japanese) h-game sites seem to - rather, something along the lines of, say, Alternate DiMansion Diary, where you explore an area and look for things/solve puzzles/etc. A sense of exploration is key. I'm not interested in any kind of RPGM-style turn-based combat, either (though, for reference, I thought The Agnietta balanced combat and exploration reasonably well).
Just about anything is fine recommendations-wise, provided that it a) checks the above box and b) actually has halfway decent art/gameplay.
