It's probably easier to bring in a native English speaker to lightly revise the dialogue than it is to grain a thorough understanding of English yourself, as English is the most motherfuckerish (it's a word, Samuel L. Jackson said so) of languages. These board are replete with native English speakers so it shouldn't be too hard to find a collaborator.

I have a good friend who speaks English well.
When I once asked him which was easier for him to learn his native language (Russian) or English.
