Seeking Best story-heavy Koikatsu games?

This might be a bit of an odd thing to say on a porn game website, but I've recently taken to games that pay less attention to the sex part and more to the story part... and, for whatever reason, Koikatsu-based VNs tend to stand head and shoulders above the competition in that particular regard. (It also helps that it, in my humble opinion, looks far better than any of the more 'realistic' 3D character creators out there.) Some of my favorites were...

• Lessons in Love - Fantastically written, though not without its fair share of flaws;
• Winds of the Destiny - In dire need of a grammar check, but otherwise pretty good;
• Champion of Realms and Hero's Harem Guild - It's been a long time since I played either of those, so I don't remember them too well. But my heart fucking sank when I saw that 'Abandoned' tag on HHG holy shit

Looking for more like those, please. I'm more than willing to play through several hours of non-sexual content if the game wants me to. I came across

Dissonance and Sensei Overnight are inspired by Lessons in Love but horror is more about mental health. They also have a lot less bloat gameplay. Dissonance has no sexual content as of now (v0.4) but has 1 tiddy scene. Dare I say they're just as good as LiL (although I haven't played it since over a year ago).


Corrupted Kingdoms is similar to Corruption of Realms and HHG in gameplay and I think it's H-scene to Story balance is quite good. edit: Godesses' Whim is basically Isekai HHG. Renders and Animation are great though, better than any other koikatsu game I can remember.


How I Became the Bodyguard of the Saintess! is inspired by Shounen battle Manga/anime (which I've seen far too much of) but I found it quite entertaining.

Edit: Forgot about Android LIFE which is something you'll just have to experience, I can't describe it well.
