Hello,

I'm looking for an easy way to make game graphics that doesn't involve drawing or Daz (I hate that thing).

I've been thinking on using pixel-art or Honey Select; but I'm not pretty sure about pixel-art since it's a 3DFPS "photorealistic" game.

My last resource would be using placeholder stick figures graphics, and hire an artist for future builds (after Alpha 0.1).

Is this a joke thread?

>Best way to make game graphics?
and
>easy way to make game graphics
Hmmmm... Those are not the same things
>that doesn't involve drawing or Daz (I hate that thing).
Well...
>pixel-art or Honey Select;
That's an option.
>3DFPS "photorealistic" game.
Thread tagged as RPGM... OMG, it's going to happen, someone is going to push that fucking engine to the limits.
>My last resource would be using placeholder stick figures graphics, and hire an artist for future builds (after Alpha 0.1).
That's sensible. Makehuman + poses can make for a good placeholder.
Something like this(Honey Select + somewhat photorealistic look) has been done in Everwhore, I think. Look it up. Just don't make 3D First Person Shooter in RPGM.

You've basically answered your own thread, you don't want to draw or use DAZ so you gave yourself the 3 main options:

Placeholder graphics, Honey Select, Pixel Art

There's also TK17 but I really have no clue what that is.

I guess my main question would be "Best way to make game graphics easily", but since I'm not a native english speaker I wasn't able to formulate it accurately.

And it's fairly easy to make a 3D game with RPGM, a example would be Tokyo Tenma.

I guess I did end up answering my own thread lol.

In that case, I just want your opinion about the three options I wrote in the OP.

Placeholder stickman graphics will probably turn away players
Honey Select seems to be widely used, and accepted
Never played a pixel art, can't answer for this one.

So, I guess I'm going with Honey Select as the best option

DAZ. Period

Oh you can make *cough* games stealing content from porn sites that noone wants to see i guess.

It sounds like youre nervous/afraid to learn. It's not complicated it just frustrated you. There are other ways like blender, maya, max etc but their learning curve is MUCH higher and theyre not really "better" than daz.. in some ways theyre inferior.. theyre just all in one solutions really.. from modelling objects all the way to rendering a movie. Daz lets you buy prebuilt objects designed to work together and has tools to do complicated things like fit clothing to models quickly , easily and well. It also has the best character models there are.. full stop.

Please note: If you steal art from games , porn sites etc and you actually manage to make money at it... they can swoop in and shut you down AND take every cent you made and more. If you took my game and made something small for fun that didnt make money.. heck id feel honored. If you take things i spend a lot of time and money and effort on and Do manage to start making $$$.... im coming after your bank account

Stealing has never been my style. I already decided I'll use Honey Select.

About DAZ... It's not that I don't like it. Actually, it's a lot more professional than HS; but since my PC is literally a piece of junk, It's impossible for me to make a render (the first time I tried to render a simple scene with one character it took my PC around 20 hours).

And since HS allows me to use Studio NEO and simply do some snapshots, I think that's a better choice.

If he makes games on Patreon, they can't do anything.
There was a guy called BEST MULT CLUB who was stealing content from another creator (AKABUR) and guess what? He was earning about +/- 150 usd/month with no problem.

Not strictly true. Patreon will respond to a DCMA take-down order (eventually) if you give them proof that someone is posting content that you own. There was a Patreon page that was just re-posting other games from all sorts of places. Basically, stealing the paid games, posting them, giving people access to all of them for a single subscription fee. They got shut down after a bunch of different content owners complained to Patreon. Basically, it comes down to:
  1. Whether or not the "illegal user" gets on the radar screen of the content owner
  2. Whether the content owner decides it's worth going after them
Trust me, Patreon does NOT want to be found to have helped its patrons violate other people's copyrights. So they will react to reports of that - they're required to under U.S. law.

Mmm... I've finished my game's thread (there's no playable builds yet), just in case you wanted to take a look.

No Offence!
Its an intersting question but you can't make a game with good graphics - easy - without drawing or a headache.
for a good looking game (graphics) Unreal Engine 4 is on the top - DaZ is very easy to use to make characters (if you're smart enough you won't need to draw anything) - Easy: there's already something in UE4 called blueprint if you don't know how to code in C++ or C# Blueprint is the solution and easy to learn (difficulty lvl = VERY EASY +++++).
Learning is easy and never hurt, just be smart enough and and don't waste your time doing shit and you will be able to make something insane, trust me.

This is 2019 dude. Just commission some low thread count stills from your most adorned ARTIST AND STICK 'EM INSIDE YOUR rpg GAME AT THE KEY POINTS THOSE INTERACTIONS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!
As an artist, you should know you can actually make Unity games from their free resources and then purchase the appropriate license for a production company in the month you release the game. That is it for a 1st game.
All good games you see are different assets slapped into a game. Some devs are more artists, others are more coders. They all have flaws when coining the game, but essential is that:
THERE ARE VLOGS FULL OF SKYRIM VIDS, ALSO PATREONS, they JUST POSE AND USE ASSETS INSIDE THAT GAME, GET PERMISSION FROM thE MODDERS AND make A GAME WITH SUPERB QUALITY RENDERS STRAIGHT FROM A A A GAME!

Most games here are small one man teams - even pink is a one man team and the games produced are
A W E SO M E (B.A.D.I.K AND ACTING LESSONS)
