I just wanted to say that I'm late to the party and just discovered this gem today, but I'm very impressed! You've done an amazing job at every aspect of this game. I was sad when I finished Chapter 2 because there isn't more to enjoy (yet). Please keep up the great work!

Thank you very much! :) I'm working on the first part of Chapter 3 currently and I did some good progress during my vacation. I should start posting the development updates in here as well, since that's what this threat is all about.

There's still a lot to cover, but progress is being made constantly. Here is the latest status report image from previous Sunday.

Hey everyone!

I’ve got a shorter status update for you compared to last time. During my second week of vacation, I made solid progress on the upcoming version, still got a good amount of things done this week as well. So far, I’ve written around 9,000 words, with a target of somewhere between 12,000 and 15,000 for the first part of 0.3. That feels like a solid goal in comparison to 0.2.

I’ve also completed a few smaller animations and renders. I had to test one particular in-game scene to see if it worked the way I wanted it and I’m happy to say that I like it!

As for the vote I conducted about second chances with LIs, the feedback was mostly positive, so I’ll be sticking with the current approach. Thanks for your input!

Wishing you all a fantastic week ahead, and thank you for the continued support! ❤

Hi fellow Pandalorians!

I’m nearly finished with the story part, and rendering will begin soon. You can expect to see some sneak peeks starting around mid-October!

The story is currently about 14,000 words, and I estimate it will end up between 15,000-16,000 words, depending on revisions and the last two missing scenes. This update will include quite a few new scenes, so the rendering process may take a bit longer, but I’m confident it will go smoothly. Out of the 12 scenes, 5 will require new maps, which I need to prepare first (I usually can’t use stock maps directly because of missing assets or weird object placements).

I’ll keep you updated on the progress!

Wishing you a great week ahead, and don’t forget to stay hydrated!

Hello friends!

I’ve been hard at work finishing up the remaining story elements for the next update. The scenes are all written, but I’ve found myself revisiting and rewriting some parts - especially when it comes to branching paths I initially overlooked.

For example, having different dialogue routes depending on whether or not you’ve lost a girl's path. Imagine you're talking with Amber, and afterward, Jade approaches and makes comments about her. If you're no longer on Amber’s path, Jade’s comments wouldn't really make sense. So, I’m adding alternate dialogue to maintain context and consistency. It’s a small thing, mostly basic storytelling, but not something I often see utilized in AVNs, so I wanted to explain where my time is being invested. Of course, this might have changed recently, but I haven’t had the chance to dive into every new or updated AVN lately.

Now, back to the main topic. Besides rewriting the story parts, I’m also working on the renders. I’m currently debating (pun intended) whether to update my characters from Hanmen Shader Version 2 to Version 3.X. There’s quite a bit of work involved in getting the characters to look like their original Version 2 models. You might be wondering - why bother updating? Well, the new graphics mod comes with some useful fixes for common HS2 issues, like those annoying dark lines on the body parts, among other things, and those need the new shader version. So, it could be worth the investment in time, but I’m still weighing that decision.

I’ve attached some previews so you can see the differences. There are still some noticeable differences between V2 and the adjusted V3-B (V3-A is just switching out V2 with V3), but they’re getting closer. I’ve been especially focused on Chloe, but despite my efforts, she’s not quite looking like herself yet with the new shader but Lucy on the other hand seems rather easy to update.

Lastly, I’m off this week from my day job and will be dedicating my time to working on renders, as well as the monthly render where I'll show Anya and Lucy together!

Wishing you all a fantastic week! <3

Hello everyone!

I’ve got three updates to share with you today!

First, I’ve decided to put the Shader update on hold for now. I couldn’t get the characters to look the way they originally did, and even after reaching out to other devs, the issue remains a mystery. So, I’m sticking with my (g)old characters, they’ve got that special charm, and I prefer and love them a little more.

Second, in the last dev log, the word count was around 18,000, and as of last weekend, it’s grown even more up to 22,000. There’s been some rewriting and fine-tuning up until earlier this week, but now I’m mostly focused on rendering. The exact word count might shift a bit as I continue to add small tweaks during the rendering process to make the story flow more naturally.
Rendering is going smoothly! I'm currently using maps I created in previous chapters, which makes for steady progress. Over the past few months, I’ve still learned more about lighting and other techniques, so I’m making small adjustments here and there to improve the quality bit by bit.

And finally, a huge thank you to three incredible community members for providing Russian, Chinese, and French translations for the game! You can download them now on , complete with installation instructions for both PC and mobile. If you encounter any missing translations or issues, please let me know on Discord (preferably) or . Your feedback is always appreciated!

Also a non-game related topic: Another community member wrote me about the loss of his home because of the recent hurricanes in their country. While I can’t fully grasp what it’s like to experience such a devastating loss, I truly hope that things improve for everyone affected by these events. My thoughts are with all of you who are going through tough times!

That said, I hope the week ahead treats you all kindly. Take care, and thank you for your continued support! <3

Hello Pandalorians!

It’s time for another status report!

Out of the 12 scene I originally planned for this first part, I'll be including 11. It's already relatively big for just being one half of Chapter 0.3. This means, I'll have to render one scene less, ultimately result in a quicker release. I hope this adjustment works in everyone's favor!

So far, 4 of the 11 scenes are fully rendered, totaling around 300 renders already. While it might not sound like a lot, the remaining 7 scenes are mostly larger, more complex ones, some even require new map setups. In total we’re looking at a count somewhere between 1,000 and 1,200 renders, just my humble guessing, though.

Next week, I’ll be attending a work course in the evenings, so I might not get much done on weekdays. But I’m planning to pick up the pace over the weekend to make up for it!

Wishing you all an amazing week ahead! Take care! <3

Panda, going dark.
