I thought that was required for the completion of the Blog opportunity, but I could be wrong. I'm certainly no expert, I'm still grinding my way through myself. I'm at a year in game and I still can't get more than a hand job from Mom, for Odin's sake. To be honest, I'm not sure how the sex in Arachnophobia triggered. I don't think you have to, but I did. Of course I was also using a money cheat, so it wasn't a big sacrifice. I think it increases their moods, and adds a hand job and blowjob scene if you're far enough along with them. Other than that, I don't think it's a requirement. I don't think you even have to go shopping with them if you don't want to. If you're not using a money cheat, and are running low on cash for other parts of the story, then I wouldn't risk it. If you've got the spare income and wanna see the girls in different outfits and get a couple more scenes, why not?
Yeah, eventually. You just have to keep progressing and getting them more comfortable with you being around. Eventually, it'll stop being a sneak check and you'll just be able to open the door and walk in. Different girls have different scenes and dialogues in the bathroom. Just keep grinding at it. Keep their moods high and try to peep and touch them as much as you can. There's not really a whole lot to be afraid of other than Eric trying to turn them against you if you go to war with him. That's really the only way to lose the game, so don't be afraid to take risks. And if the worst comes to pass, the game autosaves at the start of every day, so you can just go back to the beginning of the day if something happens you don't like.
So, should I open the door, knock or peep? Is there any way to check the progress?
Do them all until you get a positive result. If there's a peep option with a green sneak chance percentage, then they're probably not going to just let you waltz in and swing your dick around. If you want, do a save, try one, then reload the save until you've done all of them. The higher your authority and their mood, and the more sexually open they are with you, the better chance you'll have at a bathroom scene.
What time are you trying to hide the spider? The earlier it is in the day, the lower the chance. Always hide it at 2300 when Alice is in the shower.
I tried all of them, knock and wait, knock and come in, come in without knocking, peep, doesn't seem to have any effect.
P.S: I don't have any option to tell Eric to give up on Alice and choose Kira, there is only "any other option?" and "I won't give you Alice", why?
Okay, so I was reading through some older posts looking for answers to why side effect wasn't triggering. I think I found the answer. Will it not trigger if you still have days of private punishments? Because I stacked up a bunch of those before I unlocked the no punishments and private punishment for sisters. A lot meaning 835 days of private punishments left. I was using a money cheat and figured it kept Mom happy to be getting money, so I just maxed it out by paying her 1000 every day. Is that what's now fucking me? Feel free to laugh if it is. I'm in that hazy middle ground of manic laughter and throwing my keyboard through the wall myself, so I won't judge.
It's been a while since I've had to deal with Eric, so I don't really remember all the options. I know I played through the earlier portions a few different times and got different options when talking with him. I think it depends if you go to war with him or not. I used this walkthrough early on and found it to be the best. It only goes up to v.9, but it sounds like you're still pretty early on. It sounds like you're on the right track. You might have to complete the fourth movie with Alice and Mom in order to unlock the arachnophobia sex. I'd suggest grinding on that (pun intended) for a while to see if that unlocks it. Getting the second movie to trigger takes two Fridays. Or at least it did for me. Maybe I was just unlucky as to how the days fell.
Just keep doing the massage on the couch. It will lead to more later, but I think you need to progress in Arachnophobia for it to lead to anything substantial.
Lisa can join in the cam shows after she walks in on you and Alice having sex after you hide a spider. I'd suggest holding off on the spider quest until you do the third movie. If you're still getting the same thing, then do the fourth movie. I'm almost positive Alice's mood has to be high in order to trigger the sex after spider scene, but you said you've kept her mood high, so I assume the movie is the trigger you're missing. There will be a quest unlocked called "Changing Roles" after Lisa interrupts you that will unlock new situations for You, Alice, Lisa, and Kate. Just keep grinding at it, man.

On New Job: I believe Mom has to give you and Lisa sex ed before it will progress. But I'm still working on that one. I still haven't been able to do anything with Mom beyond a hand job a few times a day. I can only watch the same movie where nothing happens on the couch with her. I think the fact that I still have a backlog of private punishment days is fucking me over there, so I'm not sure how much further I'm going to get in New Job. Have you done "Changing Roles" yet? I think that's how you get Mom and Lisa sex ed going. Mom and Lisa sex ed is under the "Cunning Plan" opportunity. A lot of the opportunities later in the game are tied to one another, so progressing in one is required for the others.
"Olivia" is straight forward and rather abrupt, so I don't think you need any help there.
I think you had to use it to blackmail him, but I never went down that route. At that point, Mom is so wrapped around his finger that nothing you say or do is going to change her opinion of him, so taking it to her probably won't help. As far as I know, the only way to get rid of him is the Wallet opportunity which has two different outcomes. I chose the nastier of the two because fuck Eric...

I think you have to go through calling her a tease and saying "Show me what you're doing" three or four times before you get the option to interrupt her. It'll be obvious. There will be an option that says something like "I have to go" or "something just came up" and when you click on that, you'll go straight to her bedroom door.I end changing roles
