Hello, I can't seem to contact you through discord as you only allow friends, so I'd like to ask if you still have any open slots for a writer? I unfortunately do not have a degree to my name but I have a few references of my work, either script related, roleplaying or book related. I also have tons of experience as a D&D Dungeon master.

I hope I can hear from you soon!

The more of these I see, the more I roll my eyes each time. Vague as absolute fuck, asking for lofty requirments, advertised as a full-time position, claims to be a big project, but refuses to say what it is? Yeah, sure.

It's a big team looking for a writer to work with several others (I mean, who needs 8+ writers outside of TV/Movies?). On a piracy forum from someone with one post. Do the math, people.

One can hope [Who wouldn't want to make a living writing smut?], but it is odd how many people don't give any information. Would seem...a requirement to avoid repeating conversations.

As this fine individual has mentioned, one can hope, and I desperately hope so.

Sure, you can hope all you want. But hope isn't going change a spade, and it's pretty safe to call it one here.

You can believe all you want. The exact project is disclosed only in the direct talk with candidate. Of course this account was just created to post this.

Again, why create a post with a random account when using an official account would likely be much more effective in recruiting talented writers? Doesn't make a whole lot of logistical sense, no? Even then, supposing it's 'one of the big projects', you'd hardly need to come to a piracy forum to recruit a writer.

The math doesn't really add up.

To give the benefit of the doubt, it could [Stretching the sentiment to a marathon here I'll admit] be done to avoid having copycats take the idea and make a game off it and lessening the appeal of the game.

But even then, prior comments still stand: Avoids repeat questions of genres, game engine, plot, kinks, why make it look like a job offer on a pirate site? etc. Why answer a 100 applicants when 80 of them wouldn't bother if you have a certain kink in mind as the main appeal?
Might just be what's happened to me lately, but looking back at the original post the requirement makes me think of some those job applications for a crap job [Be a team player]. Yes I know it's a necessity, but a full time job posting for writing an H/porn game on a pirate site? Sounds like it could lead to a "We need 5 scenes yesterday" scenarios...

while I do agree with your points, I also don't think it's anything dangerous. it's not like you're getting locked into a contract the moment you contact them for further details or you're losing an enormous amount of time doing that. if it's a bs offer (like that kojima guy, his legend will always be remembered in this forum), then you'll know and move on. not that big of a deal, imo.

oh no no no, we had a local "Kojima" here, guy went on and on about his project and how amazing and unique it was and how it was going to take the entire adult industry by storm (his actual words). but the catch was that he wouldn't even invest and pay anyone but just expected them to jump on board for that sweet sweet shared revenue (between like, 5 people) AND to give him the highest quality results possible.

guy literally would post shit like "don't get left behind! you'll come back begging me for a job!" I messaged him, asked what made him so confident in his game, and his actual answer was "I've been a professional gamer for the last 13 years". I asked what he was thinking in terms of marketing his game, and he was like "bro, trust me, I make friends everywhere I go! I just get along with people a lot! this game's gonna be big!"

yeah, that was a good laugh lol

It has to do with us not wanting to announce this position openly this time.
Why here? Because literally the whole adult gaming market is here. If you know a better place plz let me know.
