  • I don't mind development cycles that alternate between the two as long as there's more content.

  • I don't mind either of the two games, as long as you focus on one at a time.

I thought ANLIS was abandoned but apparently we have another dev who likes to start new projects before finishing his previous one. Guess there's no point getting invested in anything he does until it's actually finished.
I wrote he did a Koda in a previous post and he got feisty. That was no lie.

Is there a scene with the lobby lady?

Also where do you get the gallery? I must've missed it

Haven't downloaded yet so forgive my asking based on just screens, is it just me or is the art a bit better here?

yes, the games are 3 years apart so it's normal. the screenshots in the other game are from an early version, it has improved since even within the same game.
Thanks!
Within the game but in later stages or was it updated from start?

Stop yapping about ANLIS the game is already great there is no emergency to complet it. Just let the dev go in different project if he wants to.

Imo you should alternate between the two projects depending on your inspiration in that moment

I have a foot fetish, obviously I'm here aren't I. But I'm not into feet stink sniffing at all. That's just nasty. Too bad all footjob games, without fail, have this as a feature. Still I shall watch this game with great interest
I look for games w easy json edits in notepad
Find word and replace

I would say there's more games with footjobs out there than foot sniffing/ worship, like you can find it even on most vanilla ero games or japanese VNs, a few of them also add the femdom tag because just 1 footjob scene...

I can sympathize a lot, actually. Are you a creative guy? I'm struggling to juggle my inspirations as I'm currently working on like 4 projects at once and it's pure chaos. I know it's something to solve at therapy or something like that but my shots of inspiration are just so random. Sometimes I can't even look at a project, like I just don't want anything to do with it anymore. And then days, or weeks, or months later it's all I can think about and I work on it like 12 hours a day.

Yes I am and what you're saying is fine but when people are monetizing their work everything changes though. Unless you were 100% crystal clear about your intent to drop your focus from one project to another at the drop of a hat since the beginning, this is the kind of behavior that makes me support less and less developers lately.

There's been too many stories of financial success dooming projects lately as it turns them into money milking schemes with a snail's pace output. Changing focus into other projects has also been used as a strategy to keep suckers providing money for longer with vague promises and lame excuses. Take ZION with his Succubus Covenant spinoff games or Koda who was instantly mentioned in another reply to my post as well. There's plenty of others too.

This isn't even about people behaving like this or those who decide to give them money, ultimately they can do whatever they want. Unfortunately however, this only makes it harder for other actual hard working, passionate individuals to get people to give them a chance and support their work.

Yeah, I agree. You have a point. I still don't know if that's what's happening here. And because I kinda have this trait I'm cautious to accuse creators of doing that on purpose. When it comes to Koda, if he was a responsible person I think he should've announced an actual break instead of just going silent like he did for years, right? And I agree it definitely hurts the more organized/efficient creators when a noticeable number of devs have this behavior (either on purpose or as an impulsive trait like I do) that ends alienating the public.

You're right to be cautious about accusations, if my comment came of as accusatory that wasn't the intent. I do not know either, nor am I claiming it is the case here, but once you're burned enough you stop caring and assume the worst. Or at least I did.

I'm well aware none of the behavior I talked about may have crossed this developer's mind and it may all stem from something innocent like your own tendencies as described in your reply. Just figured it'd be an appropriate point of view to share considering there's even a poll going on asking about how to proceed.

He didnt really abandon ANLIS, and he had a good reason to switch projects. ANLIS is way too big for a part time, solo dev. Also his games are free? If you think his tactic is to money grab by switching projects just dont support him, you still get the game anyway.

I agree though I think he definitly should be communicating more, ultimatly what I hope happens is he finishes BRH (shouldnt take long as it isnt planned to be as big as ANLIS, its in his scope.) And hopefully he gets enough money and support from that game to be able to go back to ANLIS with more tools to get it done faster. I am really hoping he posts more on his patreon so I can actually have a reason to subscribe and support him.

Funny I replied a minute before you quoted me. That reply may be relevant regarding your first point.

About the second, it's important to keep in mind that the very same scope, added to the actual quality of his first release (which being pretty high made it seem somewhat feasible) got some of the people who backed to do so. If there's any changes regarding how ambitious the project is a responsible developer needs to come to terms with it and communicate it in a timely manner, letting his supporters decide whether to keep supporting based on current reality and not promises or ideas that are no longer relevant.

So yes, you could chalk it up to a communications issue if there was no intent to milk supporters. It's getting harder and harder in general to give the benefit of the doubt though. Either way ANLIS has amazing potential and the developer has already proven he can make something great, so lets hope he will finish something great.
