Are you sure I'm not supposed to just overwrite the "script.rpy" file with the mod version? The "BlackmailingtheFamily-BetaV0.03-pc" folder has several files in it.

Installation:
MAC: Unzip the mod -> Right-click your "Blackmailing the Family" app -> Click "Show Package Contents" -> Open the "Contents" then "Resources" folders -> Hold the Option key and drag the folder named "game" from the mod to the "autorun" folder -> Click merge

This game is about the MC creating a porn film company and he will use any means to get people to take part in his films, including is family, some choices are more lovable to those people other are more about corruption.

According to the dev.
1. Submission paths = the women won't have sex with anyone but you.
2. Dominant paths = the women will only have sex with other people if you tell them too.
3. Whore paths = the women will offer to have sex with other people or do it even if you don't ask them too if they believe it helps you in some way to do so.

The mod include the stats what they do, you can see in some of the pictures here in the mod page, some of the mom choices say whore, so avoid those choices.

i downloaded it and the .zip is named correctly BlackmailingtheFamily-BetaV0.04-Joker Leader Mod
but the folder inside is still named BlackmailingtheFamily-BetaV0.03-Joker Leader Mod
and when i play the new version of the game i dont see your mod on the first choice
so wasnt the new mod uploaded by mistake?

The mod is for the new version of the game, i just forgot to change the folder name, the first choice i let the player choose by himself or herself, it dosen't change much for the story.

Just skip trough the game, and i didn't get any error in the game, but i did start a new game, like the dev mentioned in the OP.

Do not copy the saved folder over to this game.
You must start from the beginning to get all the flags and points. ​

I was on a completely new save. Didn't copy anything over.

I made the following choices again and was able to recreate the error...

That might help. Again, not sure if the mod or the game itself is at fault.

Edit - Managed to get around the bug by using Take The Business card as the first choice, all other above choices the same. Now it works properly.
I also re-downloaded the game and did not copy the walkthrough files over, then made the choices I put in the spoiler above that used to cause it to bug out - lo and behold it now works fine. Walkthrough mod is bugged with that particular set of choices. You're welcome.
