VN - Ren'Py - Blackmailing the Family [v0.12] [Warped Minds Productions]

Honestly one of the worst games I've ever played. The renders aren't bad, but the story... Oh god. There is barely any setup at all, the plot immediately goes into the weirdest most unrealistic directions imaginable. Who are you even corrupting here, these people are messed up from the beginning. If you want a sense of gradual corruption, this absolutely isn't the game for you. Everything feels so forced and unnatural, plus the MC is a complete sociopath. Stay away for the sake of your sanity.

This game is such good fap material, definitely 5 stars ! So many fetishes, and with the latest update even more, and especially a favorite of mine (besti action). It's simple, but that's good, because this game focuses on 'porn' and the blackmailing storyline works excellent imo, the MC is gathering a nice harem with all kind of different women, I like the variety and also the attention on 'older women', with realistic body types. Now if the Dev can add some lewd sounds to the animations like he's planning to do, that would make this magnificent !!!

this game may not be too ambitious on the story building front but it does deliver what it promises in the title and description. MC is somehow always lucky enough to get leverage on all the females around and uses those opportunities like a natural born blackmailer would. everything is straight to the point and event development is fast so far. while the renders are good enough, animations consist of simplistic loops, which sometimes get ridiculously hyper. lately i've got too tired of games offering little more than tedious walls of text, so this is a fresh breeze of air. i'll be looking out for more games like this and "restore my career".

I expect an evolution of the game allowing, famillial orgies, with feminization of the father and/or main character. In short even more perversions; Otherwise the modeling is very good, this beginning of the game and very appreciable, although the corruption of the members of the family seems to me a little too easy

This one really is a mixed bag. The renders and graphics are rather poor, the writing is extremely basic and there is no build up to the sex scenes. The characters are too willing for being blackmailed. It does happen to hit my kink but sadly executes poorly on it due to the above reasons.

I found myself skipping dialogues and scenes. There are not many choices that you can make and it's just a fast paced click-through from one sex scene to the other. I might revisit it later to see if it improved in pacing and execution.

Not worth a download. The renders, mainly the posing, are very poor and the characters are totally unbelievable. Basically every character in the game was molested by their family when they were a kid, according to the story. Needless to say the game feels very bleak, and it's just not fun to play.

It's a linear story, player choice has little to no impact. There's also zero buildup of any characters before sex. Example - You basically meet you aunt and then instantly bang. I commend the game for having diverse body types and ages, but beyond that the game is a mess. Keep it out of your downloads folder.

As a dev myself I'd like to pre-face this review with what I think is important to say that I'm just giving my honest opinions and that I wish every Dev well because I know from first hand experience how hard it is to develop a game and if nothing else, devs deserve praise for the effort they put into their games. Also, I believe honest reviews HELP the game or future games get better. That being said, here's my review.

Well, this was... something. I mean, the game doesn't pretend to be anything else than what it is.... what it is is the hard part to pinpoint exactly. Certainly don't expect anything close to resembling reality or any semblance of it. The world this game happens in must be some sort of alternate reality where people can do what ever when ever without consequences. Which is fine if you just want to see sex/fetish scenes... I mean there s no working for it. You just throw yourself right in them. Story wise that makes for a story without much depth. It's just jump from one sex scene to another and be evil or really evil. That becomes boring quickly if you're the type that likes to read. Otherwise it's pretty much skip the reading and fast forward to the sex.

The renders and characters aren't that great either. Some are very grainy and some characters look weird, to me anyway.

Personally I feel this is a niche game that will not appeal to the majority but will be loved by some people who just want to fap to some "fetish" content. That being said, I prefer balance in my games with a semblance of reality... so it gets 2 stars.

tl;dr: Game will be liked mostly by people who want to fap to some fetishes. Most people will dislike it. Hopefully enough of the former will sustain the Dev. Good luck!

Loving how different this game is to pretty much everything else, can't wait for the BDSM and bondage stuff to be added.
Love the difference this game has to every other game where all the women are pretty and young looking.

I feel people are reviewing the fetishes rather than the game.

Obviously the fetishes in this are above and beyond where most games go to and that excites a certain crowd but...

The writing and story whilst completely legible are delivered in such a dry a way. There's no build up, no character development, no emotion. Its very bad and doesn't fit with the darkness of the kinks at all.

Renders - look they are okay and 2 or 3 years ago they would be good , maybe 4* but they look really dated. The character design isn't great and the settings are again really dry with no atmosphere.

UI - Its bog standard Ren'py, doesn't look like there has been any thought given to this at all.

The kinks are the only redeeming feature this game has at the moment but even they are delivered in such a boring way they fall a bit flat. If the game stays the way it is it has to go absolute bat shit insane with the kinks and CG.

Looking forward to seeing more...Please keep the storyline dynamic. Love the diversity and imagination for the game.

I see some criticism from players but personally, I have no issue...please include the option to avoid some content for others...otherwise it's fantastic.

Fantastic, the approach admits multiple combinations and new protagonists.
I love the introduction of maduras and grannys.
I expect a lot from the group sex that will come in future editions.

Finally, if you like this kind of content like me, the game will satisfy you, but if you are a more casual person, do not play.

I played through the whole thing in one go V.0.02 and god damn that was sh...I mean, I didn't like it. And I tried, but damn this isn't just about the fetishes. This is really not good so far. There is some potential but even if it were well written, paced and rendered there is still some stuff that just turns me off. Don't want to review bomb it because it is a very early release but seriously god damn shit. I can feel where this is going and it's not going to be pretty. But to be fair the dev does warn us ingame etc. about the things to come so...if you're into this shit and the game gets better with time you may enjoy.

I quite liked this game, the 5 stars given for this game is only for the v0.001 BETA version. Overall with the amount of content, it would probably be a 2 or a 3 star currently. I hope it continues at the same level, if it does I'd be happy to keep it's 5 star rating.

It has a TON of fetishes, incest, rape, soft rape/maledom, even GILFs, so that alone makes the game stand out,. There's maybe one or two more similar games.

The renders were actually really good, I noticed a few images were re-used but I didn't mind. The faces of people actually look good.

And for a game that's said to be a v0.01 and not v0.1, looks to have quite a bit of content, and this is still a beta. I believe there will be an option to turn off gay content in the final build.

Overall, I really like this game If you like the mentioned fetishes, you'll love this game as well.

Normally it would not make much sense to review any game this early, but since I saw quite a bit of commotion and confusion and since I took one for the team and downloaded and played this, here the rough points with emphasis on the featured content, as this has many people unsure.

Fair warning: Lots of spoilers ahead.

Genre:

VN with choices. No Sandbox, No grinding.

Presentation/Look:

Adequate - Needs a lot of fine tuning, especially when it comes to backgrounds, animations, posing and so on, but models are actually relatively decent - with a bit more detail work and better lighting they could be actually quite nice.
That said, a lot of poses, images etc are used over and over again, so much it is a bit jarring. Animations have only a few frames and are almost worse than not having any at all. But its a 0.1 Beta, so...

Content:

Ok, here we go. Mc is a Jerk, who blackmails family and others into sex and probably doing porn for him. So far, so good, that much has been announced in the description and unless you like those themes, this game is not for you anyway.

Even though those are not my fav themes, I feel they are well executed here (some suspension of disbelief required to oversee that it all suddenly happens in a few short days). MC can assert dominance either in a still somewhat loving/Sympathetic way (in Porn game terms, in RL he still would be a rapist) or a harsher way. Not sure how much that is implemented in a broad way yet, as I did not do a second play through to try the harsher "path"(?), but if not yet implemented, it would be a good option for future content.

"Controversial" Content:

Here we go, probably what interests most people reading this.

GILF content (aka Granny Sex): Quite a bit. Teacher and Principal look in their sixties. If you can't stomach this stuff, give the game a hard pass.
Maybe the Dev can hide this content later behind a skip function, but it is integral to the plot, so I don't see a complete opt out in the future either.

Gay content: Not optional. Not really bad that far and maybe can be skipped in the future, but again integral to the plot ( . Again I see no way to make this completely optional right now.

The Big One: NTfuckingR

A bit, but most is looking to be active (cucking others). Not optional for the (not really qualifying, because it is before any sexual relations with the MC) first few instances that give the MC Blackmail materiel. Maybe later stuff could be later made optional.

Even as someone who is NOT a fan of NTR (at least the passive kind), that is not very jarring. The MC would not much care and frankly, the characters are all kind of douchebags anyway, so it gets a *eh, shrug* from me.

Conclusion: If you like a really pervy game with very few punches pulled, give it a try and let's see what future updates bring.
If you don't like ANY of the themes described above, give it a hard pass and move on, you won't be happy with this game.
