Yeah, but that is the deciding thing, vampires aren't human, they are hunters and get their thrills from the hunt or more specifically, from devouring their prey. They get a kick from blood. Nothing else can compare.
So if they start to act hedonistic and normal stuff can't reach the high blood will give you. You either start using blood in ever growing quantities and/or you try to get ever more outlandish impressions to eek some reaction out of your system.
Blood is their addiction and if you are immortal and can't self-destruct via your addiction, you will sooner or later destroy anything around you in the hunt for your next fix. OR others around you will set an end to you for their own protection.
That's why hedonism and vampires never worked for me. If vampires have some rules like the masquerade in place (and lets be honest, vampires would have something like that in place if they don't dominate humans by force) hedonism is the fastest way to break those rules and it gets worse the stronger the vampire becomes. A dead person ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But that looks completely different if 10, 20 or 50 exsanguinated bodies show up even worse if the Vamp has a type.
Now you have human law enforcement and vampires alike on your heels. No matter how strong a single vamp is if he exposes them all to the world the others will band together and kill him and they need only one good hit, he would have to kill hundreds with more in the wings waiting.
that is pretty sure the exact opposite of hedonism. That is using it as a tool when needed, hedonism on the other hand is not focused.

EDIT: so finally got some time to play this. It's a pretty good start, girls are all hot. I like the story, the dev clearly put a lot of thought into the lore judging by all the codex entries which i like a lot. I am looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Hey there, folowing up on your info.
While I don't mind if random girls (non/never-LI, not MC sex girls) have sex and we are shown that, it doesn't do anything for me.
I certainly don't expect current or future LIs to all be virgins, but I don't want to be shown it.
I know the dev made it clear that there won't be NTR or sharing so that's good.
The concept and story looks interesting but your post made me wonder if this game might not be my sort of thing.

dunno about the new update and if the Dev changed it, but in the last it was future Lis you saw having sex with others, and the it's technically not NTR because it happened before they and MC got together excuse.

Like I said, I don't expect current or future LIs to be virgins and the game can even reference their previous experience if it's relevant to the story, but I don't understand why devs sometimes feel the need to show the LIs having sex with their previous partners in a game where they are intended to be a romance option.
And I get it, to some players more sex = better game, regardless of who it is.
But presumably the dev wants us to get immersed in the story and characters and for those of us that do, seeing a current or future LIs past sexual experience can be a problem.
Just like in real life my past girlfriends or wife had a sexual past before me, and I didn't care about it and didn't ask about it, but I certainly wouldn't want to watch a video of any of it.
(And I know, it isn't real life it's just pixels blah-blah-blah. But some players get immersed in good characters and story telling and I am one of them.)
And again, before someone responds that I expect LIs to all be virgins - I have NO problem with LIs having a sexual past, I just don't want to be shown any of it.
If it's important to the story then the point can be made through dialog.
And finally, I'm not telling the dev how to write their story - I will always want the dev to make the story they want to make.
I was just trying to determine what to expect from the story in deciding if I wanted to give it a try.
