oct 2: 0.2.7 (initial release)
nov 9: 0.3.0 (38 days after initial release)
jan 10: 0.4.0 (62 days after 0.3 release)
mar 27: 0.5.0 (77 days after 0.4 release)
apr 29: 0.5.2 (33 days after 0.5 release)

so every release above came out within 210 days of the initial release.

today's date, dec 3: it has been 218 days since the 0.5.2 release.

it's official: the remaster to speed up the development process is actually SLOWER than the old development process. what a fuckin mess

Faaaaq I completely forgot that this whole circus started with the excuse of speeding up the development process.

I think I know what's going on. In fact, the remaster does not speed up the release of updates, but makes it easier for the game developer. We will receive as much as we received earlier . The developer just wants to spend less time on the game.:WeSmart:

He screwed you over big time, it's true he's now suspended the subscriptions, but before doing that he made his nice cash, hahahaha.

The remaster is the worst procrastination excuse I have seen from any dev on f95, and that is a special feat. Going over all your existing work (something usually reserved for after a game is complete) before it has even exited the prologue, and still unable to do that is insane.

I thought for sure he'd at least ghost quit after pushing it out, maybe the next update, but I guess he decided to cash out now.

I'll say that this is far from the first time I've seen a dev remake a game on its early stages, and that doesn't usually ends up well...

take a seat son, i knew how this would go down back in june:
Has there ever been a game that disproves your theory? I certainly can't think of an example off the top of my head.

One where a game did a significant remake/rehash/whatever and came out unscathed and stronger for it later?

I think OceanLab's Where it All Began is widely considered to be better after the remake, but it's the exception to the rule, I guess.

Realistically it can only go downhill cuz anything they do to push the line any further is gonna get met with very mixed reviews. In a sense it reached its peak so it's better off to end anyway tbh. Everyone always fucks up nts anyway and doesn't focus enough on the girlfriend's focus on the boyfriends pleasure and experience. If I wanted a whore to sponsor I would touch some grass.
