Dude, this is absolutely not worthy of controversy and anger. The author has problems releasing A NORMAL AMOUNT OF CONTENT. THIS IS THE MAIN PROBLEM. At this rate, the development of the game will be delayed for many years. The author of the game has already lied to us all that IT WILL START SOON, SOON SOON, as a result, instead of a blowjob scene, we get a REMASTER FOR 8 MONTHS. And now, after all this time, it's not even a COMPLETE REMASTER OF ALL THE CONTENT. This is A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT IN THE AUTHOR, he is absolutely unable to force himself to make his game FASTER.

It took me 10 minutes for 1 pics, most time spent on regenerating what I want.

If you look into game files, you will find out that almost all CG are sliced onto ~30 layers to make this effects. It could potentionally overload almost any normal GPU. Also game probably require to run it onto SSD as well.

P.S. Ayumi face on sprites and some CG looks worse than original.

The Game does not require much HDD/SSD, it is more CPU-GPU Dependent, in fact looking at version 0.5.2 it is very CPU Dependent, this version with the new animations, it may be even more CPU Dependent, since I have been testing it on a Celeron Sandy Bridge and the CPU went up to 100%.

- Performance issues are on my radar and a priority for the next release. Already working on optimizations. It's not an easy one to fix but there's a few things I want to try. Thanks to everyone for the technical info.

- Character proportions haven't changed (if anything MC is larger). This is still a NTS game. People only tend to react when it hits too close to home. Keep this in mind when you decide if this is a game for you or not!

- On development strategy: I worked hard all this time and it gets expensive. The scope evolved from remaster to full remake with full new scenes, completely rewritten dialogue, and many CGs. I gave 2 months of free development time as a gesture of goodwill for the delays. (Note: majority of images from Act 1 are actually done, but writing hasn't caught up with it). It's okay if you prefer to wait or can't afford the subscription. There are many ways to support the project. My message to anyone that isn't happy with the above statements would be to not support me and if you are and regret it you can DM on Patreon for the refund, no issues at all.

- I really appreciate all the positive feedback about the art, choice system, and character development comments. I made some risky choices and am glad a lot of people understand the vision. I also respect anyone that is able to take a fresh look at it. It's not like the art looks like the first teasers anyway. It took a lot of trial and error to get to where it is today.

I actually like the remake at least of the stuff that is out so far. BUT please give me a way to stop the animations they take me out of literally all hot scenes. It just looks so off when suddenly her face line suddenly starts extending and ruining the whole scene I am seeing.

I ask because you've now decided to release a "preview" with the first piece of the remake with subsequent pieces made exclusive to paid patrons. Why the change?

Well, the answer is obviously money. He hasn't finished the "remake", like at all but because he knows it will take a looong time he can't afford to wait anymore. But I get it, it's frustrating not selling your work for a long time and missing some of the money. But at the same time he did lie on release dates multiple times and start this remake for no reason instead of going full win on the game (so good he had to shit on his own work, sadge).

Not much different from the old version tbh sounds like a "geek" remake to me since I loved how the old AI version had an identity. Now it looks like the basic polished AI quality. Not bad but he obviously missed the charm of what he made and stuck his mind on the last AI progress.
What I also don't like are the choices, these kind of "tree" game where you have to pick a branch are annoying because you're always scared of missing scenes and not chosing the correct branch corresponding to your fetish. It's a porn game so make it to the point in terms of knowing where you go.

The guy was making $2,000–$3,000 a month for 50 AI-generated pictures in a "remaster" that offered less content than the original game's first release and took longer to develop than the next five updates combined.

I'm so happy to know the performance issues will be your priority in the next release, my poor ass can't afford a good GPU and I was afraid if the animations are going to hit even harder later on.

If you somehow can't fix the performance issues properly wouldn't it be better to forget about this 2.5D style for the mean time? In my opinion no one is gonna stop playing if you make that part of the game just normal static image of the characters, you can save up time to work on other things as well. I'd love this game just as much without those at least, the details is great but it seems for now it's affecting too much of the performance.

Hello! I hope you have received a lot of nice feedback. I've only been playing for a little while, but the writing is so much better now. I'm not so much fan of the 'narrator' voice, just a preference, but now I read all the dialogue and character thoughts completely, and I am glad to do so in this better style of writing.

The Live2D animations are also nicely done, but you've probably noticed that you need to have the background not only as a separate layer, but it also has to be more complete, so that the system doesn't fill in with skin colour or whatever is the edge colour of the animated part. That ghosting-effect is, as others have mentioned, quite distracting. The subtle animations themselves are very well executed.

I've noticed a few glitches with jittery sprites, and some strange fade ins and outs, but otherwise nothing gamebreaking.

I think the remake is really worth it. Does anybody know if AI is already having easy tools to create animations with Anime Art? That would be great because there are many Devs starting games beautyful Animew Art created by AI but without animated scenes yet.
