Almost as if people are so appalled by what Tori is doing that they go out of their way to let other people know instead of sweeping it under the rug.

Patreon is a platform to support creatives, it's not a marketplace where you're buying a product. There is also nothing to stop people unsubbing at any time, for any reason.

No, you're supporting him with the implication that he's working on the game, that's what people have an issue with. He's got every incentive to slow the development to a crawl if he so chooses it. And it seems he did so with the "remake".

You'd think people who have been here longer would have a more vested interest in calling out supposed fraud and shadiness.

i've been posting in this thread since the first few pages. i was also one of the earliest patreon supporters, at least first 20.

it's always the same with simps. "it's not the REAL fans who are upset," or "its only the non-patreon people who are complaining," or "it must be sock puppet fake accounts," as if no honest person could EVER have something negative to say about this dev or this game.

here's my theory why the "veteran" posters don't hang out in this thread just to be disappointed by it constantly: because they know the signs of a milking scheme and cut bait a lot faster than the steady stream of new users who weren't here during the scam months.
