Dev milked people dry with his first version, now he is doing a re build that's not even close to where the first version left off so he can milk these idiots again. Come back in 3 years so we get to the same spot where version 1 left off, then maybe the dev can finally abandon or start his next game.

This is an amazing update. This just thrust this game up from "maybe I'll like this, let's see where it goes" straight up to "holy shit when is the next update?" status. I know there wasn't anything that progressed the story, but he really filled in some holes about MC's past with Ari, and the addition of the beach fantasy to the first scene was amazing. All the animations really, it was great.
I posted on Patreon but here's the gist:
The forced (roughly) bi-weekly schedule served its purpose in getting the project back on track after the remake decision. But now, with new content showing up more often, I need to make a few changes to make sure I don't mess up the story.
To be clear, there will be a few scenes/moments you will still recognize from OG until we get to Act 2+, but there are enough new scenes and story changes that events will not happen like they did in the OG. You might as well consider this a new game from this point forward.
I will re-introduce dev diaries as they are very useful to fill-in the gaps between releases.
With that said, I'm now a much bigger fan of doing smaller arcs whenever possible so I'll still try to do the fastest releases I can to keep the pace high / feedback cycle fast.
To start off with a clean slate, I will do a release this Sunday with what's currently done, even if it's not where I originally planned to end this arc.
Financial sustainability is important - it justifies the hours I put into BTW versus other potential projects.
That said, maximising profit has never been my goal (remember the game started completely free, Patreon was not even on my radar).
I just like the genre and wanted to do something I thought I would enjoy playing. I make development decisions based on I believe creates the best game possible, not what generates the most money. The remake was controversial, but I believed it was necessary for quality.

Game is looking beautiful and the rework was 100% worth it because damn, everything plays and looks so much better imho. Keep up the good work dev.
he's ending the every-two-weeks deadlines but doesn't say what the new release schedule is. this is a classic torimiata sleight-of-hand move.
the communication from this dev always FEELS like he is providing information, but what's left out of the progress reports is often more important than what's included.

While I wish the chapters could come out faster, I think it's important to remember that we're sitting on the internet, as adults, on a cartoon porn game forum, conspiring that a guy making a cartoon porn game has a sinister scheme to become rich.

Considering the history of how this dev mishandles certain things, I wouldn't be shocked if that "No cheating/NTR." promise is broken later down the line. NTS authors tend to be unable to help themselves sprinkle in toxicity and cheating for some generic drama. The same goes for when devs create several optional NTR routes and frame it as, "Well, it isn't canon, so..." which I always think cheapens it anyway.
Actually going through with a completely pure NTS storyline from beginning to end would definitely make me respect this game again, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Omg u guys are something lol just chill and enjoy the game ffs. At least this game is awesome Wich is not the case of the majority of games on the site. So be grateful maybe ? If it doesn't suit ur expectations then just dont play it. There is like millions of shitty game around.
